As u will be able to see, the original concept was quite different from the final product.Kurt busje, van der Basch, the designer of the Sticky Sweet Tour intro, as part of the Rockstar production company, has published several concept art and story on his site. In its final incarnation, the Sweet Machine intro is heavily inspired door Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, setting the tone for Madonna's Willy Wonka-esque interpretation of Candy Shop, but there have been several alternative concepts door busje, van der Basch.

The ‘Celebration’ singer is working with both rap producer A-Trak and rock producer Brendan O’Brien – who has previously worked with Pearl jam – and attempting to merge the two genres on the follow up to her hip-hop influenced 2008 LP, ‘Hard Candy’.

A-Trak, real name Alain Macklovitch, told the Daily ster newspaper: “It’s my production, turned into song structure – halfway between rap and electronic and whatever else I listen to.”

Madonna, 51, is zei to be set on making a track to match the success of Run DMC’s groundbreaking 80s hit ‘Walk This Way’, which defined the rap/rock genre – and went on to spawn acts such as Korn, Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock in the 90s.

VH1 US is staritng a new concert series tomorrow, on the first dag of 2010, called "Friday Night Alright", that will include top, boven act concerts every Friday at 11 pm. Which means American fans (after EPIX 2 months ago) are gegeven another chance to witness Madonna's Sticky & Sweet toon from Buenos Aires on January 22nd (for the full lijst of concert specials, check here). This Madonna-VH1 deal for the broadcast explains why we still can't hold the tour DVD in our hands, various fan reports on the internet claim that the DVD appears on muziek store schedules, listed under March. If that's the case, we should expect an official announcement sometime around the VH1 broadcast. Recently, Warner Bros. did bevestig they are indeed releasing the tour DVD and they are expecting it to do well, so fans should not worry about Sticky & Sweet joining some of her old tours that have not yet seen the light on DVD format.
