Why does James Patterson keep changing the hair color of everyone?

OMG!!!! so i'm not going crazy...but yeah I've noticed that too...I'm not exactly sure why...but they changed hair colors for sure when they wanted their "new look" and Nudge might've changed hair colors and the "school"...that's about all I can assume besides the one where all of them change their looks.

Technicly Max always had brown hair but blonde highlights.

i imagened her blond at first but after the makeover i always imagened her brown first wit highlights and in the 2 final boeken her highligts faded

The colors dont change only in the first book when they are in new york and need a change because they flew out in front of people and a make over artist changes their style and they look totally different but eventually in grows back to normal.

yeah on some covers she has blound hair with blue eyes yet he says she has dark hair and dark eyes

I don't think he can make up his mind, of at least he's forgetting what their hair color is. Of course, there's that possibility that they are dying their hair. For Brigid, btw, she dyed her hair. That was stated. Remember Max was like, 'I think she did that on purpose, just to win over Fang!'? So there u have it :D
