I always heard Mello hated Near but Near never hated Mello....Is this true?

I'd like to think so, because Near is portrayed as a emotionless genuis (one side of L) whilst Mello is a dramatic passionate genuis (other side of L) so when he met someone with NO emotion and couldn't get any out of him, he hated that he couldn't do it and ended up hating him. But no Near still has no emotions and thus doesn't hate Mello but most likely finds him amusing.
