Michael's P.O.V

Joseph looks at us with anger in his eyes. " Well, are u just going to stand there of are u going to work? Don't make me pull out my belt!!!" He said, pointing to the smooth leather riem on his pants.

I immediately grab the microphone and start practicing with no stopping. Joseph just sits in the chair, waiting for someone to mess up.

Mother then comes in with Janet and Randy behind her. Joseph glances at her with a confused look. " Kate, I told u already to not have the other children here while they're practicing!" He yelled.

We stop singing and look at Joseph with scared looks. He looks at us. " What are y'all starin' at? Continue playing!" He yelled.

Mother put her hands on her hips. " Joe, they ain't gonna bother them while they're practicing. Right?" She said, looking at Janet and Randy.

Both nod their heads frantically. Mother turned back around. " See, don't start none, won't be none." She said, sitting beside Joseph.

After 3 hours of practicing, we could finally stop for the day. I looked at my watch, the time read 4:00 in the afternoon. I smiled to myself. I could check on Fancy again and see how she's doing.

I looked at Joesph. " Uh, Joseph?" I asked. He looked up from his can of beer. " Yes Michael?" He zei softly.

" Can I go over Fancy's house?" I asked nervously.

" Sure. But be back door 6:30 for dinner, okay?" He said, taking a sip of beer.

I sighed. " Okay." Then I heard the rest of my brothers ask Joe. " Can we kom bij Michael?"

I roll my eyes. I can't seem to do anything of go anywhere without them joining me.


Fancy's P.O.V

When I woke up, strings of sunshine poked through the blinds in my room. I glance over at the clock. It read 4:00. Michael must be done with practice door now.

Then, the doorbell rang. Quickly, I change into a blue jumpsuit and sandals and race downstairs.

As soon as I open the door, the whole Jackson clan comes in. I only expected Michael though.

" Don't expect us to feed you." Felicity said, watching TV in the living room.

Marlon rolled his eyes. " Be quiet, girl. We ain't here for you. We're here for Fancy." He zei putting his arm around me.

Michael frowned. " u stop that. Fancy's mine!" He said, pulling me away from Marlon.

I blushed. " Jeez, I'm just a girl, not a rag doll." I said, giggling.

For a moment, there was an awkward silence between us all. " So, u guys hungry?" I asked, breaking the silence.

" Yeah!" They all said, running towards the kitchen. Felicity gave me a dark look.

" u know they like cleaning out our fridge! Besides, Mama just bought some groceries two days ago!" Felicity said, waving her hands up and down.

I giggle at Felicity's anger. " Felicity, calm down. I'll make sure that they don't eat everything." I assured.

I gave the boys a big schotel of cheesy spek nachos to tie them down. Turning back to the kitchen, I overheard the boys talking.

" Stay away from Fancy, Marlon. u know I like her." Michael said, munching on a nacho.

" Hey, you're lucky I didn't flirt with her on my first try." Marlon chuckled.

" Wait, u like Fancy?" Jackie asked.

" Yeah, I do. She's so beautiful. Her smile, her long, silky hair, her soft voice. Everything about her is just so perfect." Michael said.

" Whoa, deep feelings Mike. Deep, deep feelings." Joked Tito.

" Who's to say I don't have a crush on her?" Marlon said, looking at Michael with a devious smile.

I knew I had to come back into the dining room before a fight broke out. I looked down at the platter, it was completely empty.

" u guys ate that fast." I said, giggling.

" Well, it was delicious." Jermaine said, licking his fingers.

" And that's not the only thing delicious around here." Marlon said, winking at me.

I blushed and looked away. Michael gave Marlon the dirty eye.

Suddenly, Jackie stood up. " Guys, we don't want to be late for dinner." He said, standing up.

Michael frowned. " But Jackie, we don't have to leave until 6-"

" 6:30, I know. But what if we forget? Then we're really gonna get it." Jackie said, a worried look crossing his face.

Marlon rolled his eyes. " Oh, alright. Let's go."


Everyone left except Marlon, though.

I came him a puzzled look. " Why are u still here?" I asked.

Marlon smiled. " Well, I just wanted to let u know that I'm better than Michael."

I put my hands on my hips. " Oh yeah? How so?" I asked.

He laughed. " Because he wouldn't do this." He pulled me closer to him door my waist and gave me a long, sweet kiss on the lips.

I was in so much shock. I don't even know why I didn't pull away.

Marlon smiled. " See ya t'morrow!"
