After weeks of anticipation, Miley Cyrus' new muziek video for "Wrecking Ball"—the seconde single from her forthcoming album Bangerz—has hit the web, and no surprise, the clip is bound to raise some eyebrows.
"It's officially here #wreckingballonvevoNOW," the 20-year-old pop ster tweeted this morning.
There's not a twerking teddy beer in sight in the video directed door Terry Richardson, which emphasizes Miley's muziek instead of mind-blowing moments like we saw in the clip for But while Miley may leave her signature twerking skills at home, the scandalous ster still manages to create controversy, stripping down to her birthday suit and straddling atop a large wrecking ball while taking the compliment for a sexy spin.
When the erstwhile Disney star's not completely naked, she goes braless in a tiny white cropped tank, matching panties and a maroon pair of Docs, rocking bright red lips while flaunting her fabulous figure for the camera.
The video also gives viewers a look at the singer's vulnerable side as she belts out the heartbreaking lyrics to the breakup ballad while the clips cuts to a close-up shot of Cyrus shedding a tear.
Of course, since this is Miley, the serious moments are coupled with shots of the performer sticking out her tongue, licking a sledgehammer and swinging around nude on a wrecking ball.

After the release of the muziek video, the young beauty—who will be performing on and hosting SNL Oct. 5—took to Twitter to post a link of the clip with the hashtag, #WreckTheRecord, alerting her loyals Smilers that she will release the track lijst for Bangerz if her fans break the record for the most VEVO aantal keer bekeken in a 24-hour period ("We Can't Stop" broke the vorige record).
The clip is sure to be the latest headline-making effort from Miley, who's been the talk of the tabloids since the release of her muziek video "We Can't Stop" followed door her controversial performance of the single with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video muziek Awards in August.
Miley has since responded to the backlash, telling MTV News, "Me and Robin, the whole time said, 'You know we're about to make history right now,'" she recalled. "What's amazing is I think now, we're three days later, and people are still talking about it."
