Why is it necessary? I don't understand. I'm not talking about words like "damn" of "ass." Those are crude but not as offensive as the ones I am thinking of. Since I don't swear, I am not going to start now door saying them. I don't think I really need to.

It takes away from the experience for me when a movie that is otherwise very good, with an interesting plot, a talented cast, and excellent scenery and special effects- think The Departed- is littered with the f-word.

Does it really add that much to the film if there's a lot of swearing in it? In my opinion, absolutely not. I don't understand why a screenwriter would choose to employ them when there are so many other words in the English language?

This artikel is a lijst of films that have already been used for the link and so cannot be used again. It is provided here, for your reference, and was last updated on 2 September 2008. u might refer to this artikel and do a zoek on the page to see if the film u want to name has already been used of not.

I plan to continue updating this each time a new page is completed in the forum thread, but if I don't, please send me a message.

Two other things to note:
1) I have corrected the names of films where they were listed incorrectly. In some places, this means that the film titel didn't fit in the original game, but as no one caught it at the time, it's still listed.

2) Many meer films have been repeated than I expected. I have marked most of them with a number in parentheses, to toon how many times they were repeated.

With that, the films:

Okay. So this has been bugging me for a while now, and I decided to just let it out.

What happened to kids' movies??

I just came back from the films after watching Horton Hears a Who. Jim Carrey and Steve Carell - possibly the two funniest guys in Hollywood - play the two main characters. So it should be hilarious, right? Not so. It was actually painfully unfunny. I didn't hear the adults laugh at all, and the kids only laughed when the Mayor of Whoville got stapled in the forehead (which, door the way, is a great thing to teach kids. Throw staplers and other office equipment at people. Your vrienden will love u for it).

There are so many awful children's films out now. Bee Movie, Surf's Up, Hoodwinked, Bratz, the Golden Compass... need I go on? What is with this degeneration of family movies? Sure, there have been a few exceptions - Finding Nemo for one, and Enchanted was pretty good - but for the most part, there hasn't been a single decent movie made since Hercules in 1997. And that was over 10 years ago. Why, I ask? Is it because everything's been done?

Okay,

So I'm one of those people that will sit through a 2 and a half uur movie and come out thinking and talking of just one spleet, split second. It's usually something other's find completely insignificant but I just see the whole movie summed up in that small section, like in Pride and Prejudice when Darcy helps Elizabeth into the carriage, (if u don't know what i'm talking about I've added a clip: link)It's the most simple flex of the hand but it expresses everything that he and the audience are going through. It's beautiful.

Why? Probably coz I'm a hopeless romantic and I love how they can produce such a great emotion of feeling in such a small amount of time.

It's that one moment that gives u the hope and feeling that u leave the cinema, divan, bank of chair with, and carry around all day, and that's why we all have such a passion for the film's we love.

ok so prob like some other people ive really been interested in the cloverfield movie thats coming out ever since i found out about it a few months ago. ok so its out in a couple of days and like every other awesome movie thats coming out the trailer for it has been on constantly and this is where my problem lies. i know that trailers have to toon certain gd bits of the film so that people get interested but it seems now meer than ever that the trailer is actually tonen all the main plot to the film and in case of some the end and this just ruins it i know not everyone will agree with me but i like to actually be suprised when i watch a movie and not know everything that is about to happen. surely they can make trailers that look gd without tonen everything gd about the movie

hopefully other people will agree with me so i dont feel like an idiot :)

for those that have read this thank u and i hope i didnt waste ur time

I first saw him in "10 things i hate about you" and i loved him, his performance was incredible. I loved it and him, since then i have been monitoring his career looking vooruit, voorwaarts to his volgende movies. Today when i read that he was found dead i was shocked. i could not believe how a so talented person could have died. i felt he still had so much to give, and could not but feel sorry for his family and friends. I do not know if he commited suicide of simply died someway, the truth is that life is special.

Life is life and life is a number of moments glued together. Happy moments, meaningful moments make a good life, and that is what we should all look out for. What matters in life is not the number of breaths u take but the number of moments that take your breath away. So i will urge people to keep living. . .

I will urge to keep living. . .
Keep living, cherish and value every moment they have.

Damn it Hollywood
This is my first soapbox and hopefully not my last.As I love Fanpop and it's members.Well down to the main point.I just want to point out that Hollywood is killing off the film industry. All today's films that get publicised are all recycled junk.Either Remakes of sequels of based on something.
Lets look at some of the films out now.
We have the Golden Compass,Hitman and the Mist.
We already have 2 based on boeken and the other is based on a game. Now i can't talk much about the mist and it has not been slated door critics. The Golden Compass however I haven't seen this but Critics are tonen no mercy. Now hitman I have seen and it is rubbish. This is just from one week.An average one.
So lets look at the Summer Blockbusters from this year
Here are just some.
The Bourne Ultimatum.POTC:At World's end.Spiderman 3.Order of the Phoenix.Shrek 3.Simpsons Movie.Oceans 13.Rush uur 3.Transformers.28 weeks later.Fantstic Four 2.Evan Alighty.Die Hard 4.0,Ratatouille and Halloween.

After Transformer's great success, apparently in Holywood likes the idea of doing films inspired in animated series from the 80 and 90.

This one is a lijst of possible live action movies.

- THUNDERCATS: Set against a backdrop juxtaposing science-fiction and fantasy elements, the ThunderCats series tells a good-versus-evil tale of mythic proportions, featuring an equal mix of high-technology and magic, hand-to-hand combat, and a central core of championed values. Its anthropomorphic heroes, the ThunderCats, are pitted against a rag-tag assortment of villains and a demonic wizard named Mumm-Ra on a planet known as Third Earth. link

- SPEED RACER: Hurtling down the track, careening around, over and through the competition, Speed Racer (Emile Hirsch) is a natural behind the wheel. Born to race cars, Speed is aggressive, instinctive and, most of all, fearless. His only real competition is the memory of the brother he idolized—the legendary Rex Racer—whose death in a race has left behind a legacy that...

"Yes! Someone added Bring It On to my Spot!
First of all, let me give a *hip hip hoorah* for all of u wonderful contributors to the Fanpop films Spot. u have made this spot one of the most active spots with your additions. I think I can speak for all of the films fans door saying "thank you"!

Now I would like to propose a challenge for the contributors. We/you are doing a wonderful job adding films here, but what about those lonely spots whose actors, directors, and/or genres make up our movies? I'm sure they would be most appreciative of full movie additions to their video collection. So movie contributors, if u have the time and would like to receive even meer kudos for your work in locating zei films, u might want to explore the Fanpop Universe for Spots that your film might fit with.

For example: the fans of link might appreciate having 'American Psycho', 'Newsies', and 'Little Women' for when they have a Bale craving. The link Spot would LOVE to have 'Terminator 3' and 'Æon Flux' under their belts. Perhaps...

Friday night and im off down the cinema, i decide to check into the film 1408, which u may know is a Steven King adaptation. The film is rated 15 but door the lack of intelligence my fellow cinema goers demonstrated last night it could have well been rated U and they still would have had trouble following it (or i think its G if your from america)

A group of Say 10 borderline looking youths entered the screen (oh great i thought expecting to receive a barrage of popcorn to the head, along with everyone else in there)

A short while into the film it became obvious to which the direction of the rest of my film time would pan out door a girl saying rather loudly "This film is wierd". u dont say i thought, have u never heard of steven king?? Looking back, at this point I should have left but i gave them a benefit of the doubt and on top, boven i had received no popcorn to the head either

When the plot deepened however (read the spoilers below if u want to know exactly what happened) they seemed to loose track of the plot completely, they were talking and were so confused i doubted a few of them would be able to find there way home pagina after the film....
