Films vary in quality. It's hard to make films that are masterpieces. Films require so many things to make them good. I think that these are the top, boven 5 things that films should have.

5. Interesting Visuals

Films that look bad can ruin good films. Also if a film looks decent, but nothing special the film can become forgettable. Several live action that I like aren't so much fun to re-watch, because they're not visually unique. Although visuals can't make eh of bad films good they can make good films better.

Examples of Films That Have Interesting Visuals: Studio Ghibli films, Johnny Depp's Alice in Wonderland films

4. Very Good Actors

If a film has bad acting the film's quality can ruined. It's important to cast actors that are well liked and are suitable for the characters that they play. Some actors can even make okay films good. Also it's important to cast the actors that can act the best, not look the best. In other words less Megan Fox, meer Emily Blunt.

Hi. I recently watched a new film named The Comedian. The Comedian is a comedy film that stars Robert De Niro. The film also has Leslie Mann, Harvey Keitel, and Danny DeVito. The film has gotten mostly bad reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, but I decided to check out the film.

The Plot:

In The Comedian Robert De Niro plays Jackie Burke. Mr. Burke is a former sitcom actor who has a rough work life as a comedian. Although Mr. Burke is good at getting his audiences to laugh he has anger problems. Also Mr. Burke gets a into a relationship with a woman who also has work problems.

The film's plot is actually really good. Mr. Burke does lots of bad things. A normal comedy film will have characters like Mr. Burke start off bad, but learn to be better. Mr. Burke barely improves of learn anything. Because of that The Comedian is a brilliantly written dark comedy.

The Cast:

Although The Comedian has various famous actors the film is mostly focused on Robert De Niro's character. Robert is a awesome actor and because of that his performance in The Comedian is fantastic. Robert does a good job at getting his rude character to be...

Martin Short is 1 of my favoriete actors. I love his big amount of energy. He always seems to put as much effort into his work as he possibly can and because of that he's 1 of the most enjoyable people to watch. This lijst is about the top, boven 5 films of his that I like the most. I recommend watching the following films.

5. The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause

This film is the last part of Tim Allen's Santa Claus film series. The film involves Santa's rivalry with Jack Frost. Martin Short played Jack Frost and he was the best part of the film. The film is a goofy and fun film. Because of Martin The Escape Clause is my favoriete film in the Santa Claus film series.

4. Alice in Wonderland (1999 film)

Martin was in a televisie Alice film that had other famous actors including Christopher Lloyd and Gene Wilder. The film suffers from lacking a true plot and being too long. However the cast makes the film a must see film. Martin played the Hatter. He was wonderful at playing the Hatter. Although Johnny Depp is my favoriete Hatter Martin was a awesome scene stealer.

This is my review of the 2016 film Alice Through the Looking Glass. It is the sequel to the 2010 Alice film. Tim burton got replaced door Muppets' director James Bobin.

The Plot: The film is about Alice trying to save the Hatter door going back in time and rescuing his family. The plot has pretty much nothing to do with the Alice Through the Looking Glass book which is good. The plot benefits from focusing so much on the Hatter. The plot deals with family: Alice and her mom, the Hatter and his dad, the White Queen and the Red Queen. However the real plot is about the heartwarming relationship between Alice and the Hatter. Alice puts the world in danger to help the Hatter. The plots are mad, bonkers, but all the best plots are.

The Characters: Once again Alice and the Hatter are awesome. Now that Alice has learned what she wants to do with her life she's even koeler, koelwagen than she was in the vorige film. The Hatter is pretty much the same level of wonderful as he was in the vorige film, because it's hard to improve perfection. The Red Queen's a weak villain, but Hamish is amusing enough to balance things out.

I actually really enjoy watching film reviews and the film reviews where critics dislike films are often meer entertaining. The best film reviews involve exaggerating feelings about films. However both regular people and critics often hate films. I think that hating on films too much can be a bad thing.

Of course there are plenty of films that I dislike, but I don't hate any fils. I used to hate some films. There were films that made me mad just door thinking about them. I don't get why people should hate films. Of course people are allowed to dislike films, but disliking and hating are 2 different things.

The main problem about hating films is that people can be too harsh. Critics exaggerate, but sometimes people say mean things about the people that make films that they dislike. A good example is Adam Sandler. He seems to be a frequent target of mean spirited remarks, because of his comedy films being considered bad. People tend to ignore Adam Sandler's kindness and his loyalty to his friends. You're allowed to dislike all Adam Sandler films, but please don't mock people JUST for making films that u don't enjoy.

Thanksgiving is gone, Christmas is on the way, and I'm ready for some snow. But, since my area doesn't appear to be getting any anytime soon, I will have to live vicariously through movies. So if anyone needs me, I'll just be over here, wrapped up in a blanket, sipping hot chocolate, and pretending it's as snowy outside as it is on my screen while I marathon this stack of movies.

(I have excluded Christmas movies, 'cause I'd never have been able to narrow it down to 5 then, but pretty much all of those will also fulfill your need for snow.)

#5 - The Mighty Ducks (1992)
Genre: Comedy
Starring: Emilio Estevez, Joshua Jackson, Elden Henson, Shaun Weiss
Tagline: They can't skate. They can't win. They can't be serious.
One-Sentence Summary: A jackass lawyer is forced to coach a team of rejects as community service, and eventually turns them into a respectable team and becomes less of a jackass.

Ah, Thanksgiving. A wonderful fall dag to spend stuffing your face, reconnecting with long lost relatives, and just enjoying being in the presence of your loving family. Especially on an election year!

Orrr u can scratch everything after 'stuffing your face' and hide out with a stack of Thanksgiving movies. of a phone of a tablet of whatever u high-tech hoodlums are watching stuff on these days.

Every Thanksgiving movie lijst I see has the same three movies: A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Pieces of April, and Planes, Trains and Automobiles. There are others sprinkled in here and there, even a few of these make the occasional appearance, but those are the three constants. And to tell u the truth, I'm not crazy about any of them. What's a hungry person to do while cooking of waiting for food, when they don't like the traditional films and refuse to watch the parade?

Here are five alternatives. They may not be Thanksgiving traditions for the masses, like the three I mentioned above, but they're worth a watch if you're searching for something different. I mean, it's only the most traditional holiday of the year, why...

Since I did a Horror Movie favoriete lijst I thought I'd do one for films that weren't of the Horror genre. So, this will be a lijst of 20 films that are my favoriete that don't include Horror.

1. Clueless 1995 PG-13 Starring Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy

Clueless is my all time favorite. My #1. I love it. I don't think it could ever be replaced for me.

2. Mean Girls 2004 PG-13 Starring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Tina Fey

I love Mean girls. It's one of the best. And it has some of the best quotes.

3. Empire Records 1995 PG-13 Starring Anthony LaPaglia, Debi Mazar, Rory Cochrane

Great movie. I do know it's not one of the greatest to some people but I just love it. It's weird, I could watch it everyday and not get bored with it. It has some funny moments and depressing moments but it's still good.

For those of u who know don’t know who he is, Roddy McDowall was an English-American actor, film director, and voice artist, best known for playing Cornelius on ‘Planet of the Apes’. I actually used to like him and really enjoyed his roles in the ‘Planet of the Apes’ series. However, then I grew up and learned what a scumbag he was. If for some reason, u are a fan of him then stop reading right now because there is nothing here for you.
Still with me? Okay then, don’t say I didn’t warn you. First of all, Roddy McDowall spent a lot of time with his good buddy Elizabeth Taylor. They were childhood vrienden and remained close for the rest of his life. When Elizabeth got engaged to be married, Roddy McDowall convinced her to let him photograph her nude. AGAINST HER WISHES! What kind of a friend would do that? Was Roddy some kind of a pervert? I know he was gay, but maybe he had a secret crush on her and wanted an excuse to check her out? Who knows…The point is, I think it was a jerk-ass thing to do and it caused me to hate him. Elizabeth Taylor deserved better vrienden than him. Sure, she was feisty and mischievous herself, but I think she seemed like a nice...

Not too long geleden I made an artikel about my top, boven 20 favoriete films of ALL-TIME, so I thought I'd do the same for what I consider to be the WORST films ever made. Also, with a lot of these movies, I've discovered that they broke a rule that I strongly believe that every character has a personality no matter how poorly done they are unless they're VERY minor characters with one of two lines. In turns out u can be so bad that u don't give a character personality in several of these movies. If u enjoy any of these movies, that's fine, this is just my personal opinion. Please comment, but be polite, and enjoy!

20.Jem and The Holograms

First of all, I never watched the original cartoon and even know it existed until a jaar of two of growing up on the internet, and yet I can tell that this is NOTHING like the cartoon! The characters, aside from Erica as the one-dimensional corporate sellout devil. Their personalities are as clear as a hologram. They couldn't even make their outfits of rockstar hair look anything like the cartoon. Even as someone who never watched the show, I can tell u that if the movie didn't tell us...

I don't make a habit of calling any guy a "gentleman". Mainly because there are so FEW gentlemen in the world these days. But out of all the men alive today there is probably nobody who comes closer to being a gentleman than G.W. Bailey. u may remember him as Captain Thaddeus Harris from the 'Police Academy' movies. But for me, my first impression of him was his role in the 1999 Biblical film 'Jesus'. I've thought fondly of him ever since I saw him in that movie. Sure he was slimy, greasy, unrepentant son of a bitch. And yet...there was something appealing about the guy. Something amusing. Something charming. I've also watched him other Biblical films such as 'Solomon' and 'St. Paul'. I was pleased to learn that he was a very gracious man who signed autographs for fans and was very charitable. I find it interesting and charming that a man who plays such bastards onscreen is a total sweetheart in real life. Of course, I never met G.W. Bailey personally but door all accounts, he was pretty good person. There is a video on YouTube of him being interviewed door a little girl. It was the cutest thing! She was asking him vragen like, "What kind of koekjes, cookies do u like?" The whole time,...

There's a strong reason why I'm ready for this movie and I hope to hell that it's good. In fact, there's meer than one reason. Among them is Blake Lively who looks extremely attractive and is not a bad actress herself, plus the strong realistic tone this movie seems promising to give. I know, yes... it's ANOTHER haai movie and has SyFy shoved that genre into the ground enough? BUT... this isn't SyFy, this isn't Asylum. This is a real theatrical film, just one week from official release (originally June 29th, now June 24th) and it looks downright terrifying. I'm scared for Blake. I'm scared for the predicament she's facing, especially after having already been attacked door the monstrous predator lurking beneath the water around her.

But the ONE thing I'm excited about and I'm sure a lot agree is that this is no sequel, prequel, midquel, reboot, remake of a remake of a remake. It is a thriller about a young woman and a great white shark. Man VS Beast, of in this case "Woman VS Beast". I say BRING IT ON. The people behind the movie seem confident that it'll be a bloody success, at the most financially because the advertising lately has been crazy good with trailers and...

Many of u probably don't know who he is, but some of u might remember Sal from the films he appeared in. He stal the screen from James Dean in 'Rebel Without a Cause', and dazzled brighter than diamonds in 'Who Killed Teddy Bear', and played an adorable chimpanzee genius in 'Escape from the Planet of the Apes'. If you've ever seen him, chances are, u never forgot him.

This guy was nominated for two Awards which he did not win. ROBBERY! He captivated audiences with his talent, good looks, and charm. Sal Mineo was the epitome of handsome and charisma. He had it all. He was everything. It was not surprising that every girl in the world wanted to datum him; being the biggest ster of the 1950's made him extremely popular. But as he aged, it became meer difficult for him to find work. Everybody wanted him as a teenager but almost nobody wanted him as an adult. Those people who ignored him were just plain stupid. He was a great actor, was gracious to fans, was kind, sweet, dreamy, and the most beautiful creature to ever draw a breath. He was even hotter as an adult than when he was a teenager. His amazing face and magnificent voice only became better as he matured....

2016 is a crazy good jaar for movies. Craaazy good, I tell you!

Some of these are already in theaters, but as I am a wait-for-DVD person, I haven't seen any of them yet. That doesn't mean I don't care about these films - it just means that I'd rather enjoy them at home. Let's hear it for the introverts who hate traveling! Shh, enough of that, u may now quietly verplaats on the list:

#16 - Pete's Dragon
I liked the old one when I was a kid, but was unable to watch it as an adult. Oh, the shame-induced goosebumps. *shudder* The trailer for this one looks very cool, it's got Bryce Dallas Howard, and the dragon doesn't look as nearly goofy as the animated one, so I'll give this one a shot at some point.

#15 - Shot Caller
To be quite honest, I'd forgotten this existed until I looked through IMDB's lijst of 2016 films to see if I'd forgotten anything important while writing this. (Good call, me.) A crime thriller starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Jon Bernthal, and Lake Bell. Say no more,...

When most people hear "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World" they immediately think of Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, of Grace Kelly. But Holy Crap...those women have got NOTHING on Sharon Tate! For those of u who don't know who she is, Sharon Tate was an American film actress and model. Her life was short but she left behind a legacy of her extraordinary beauty and goodness. Everything about Sharon was like something straight out of Heaven. I don't see how any man of lesbian could ever resist her. I have a huge crush on her myself. She was one of God's greatest creations along with Sal Mineo (a guy who I absolutely ADORE!). Even the almighty Elizabeth Taylor was jealous of Sharon's angelic beauty and charm. Sharon was the most gorgeous woman who ever came into existence. Her hair was golden, her eyes were amazing, her facial shape was divine, and her skin was perfect. Not to mention she had a flawless body and a lovely voice. Just take a look at some of her films like "Eye of the Devil" of "Valley of the Dolls" and u won't be able to stop looking at her. Seriously, anyone who doesn't find her breathtaking, must be totally BLIND! She's not my most favoriete celebrity but...

I know this movie came out in 1960. I know that things were different then. But I watched Where The Boys Are for the first time in the jaar 2016, and BOY, do I have some things to say about it.

I picked up a VHS copy of link (along with a heap of other old strand movies) at a thrift shop, thinking it would be cute and summery 60s fun. Diiidn't quite turn out that way.

The summary on the back cover reads,
"Break out the suntan lotion, put on the shades and tune into AM radio with the original classic that celebrates the annual migration of thousands of college students to sunny Fort Lauderdale for a wild and, hopefully, romantic spring break.

Four college girls share a hotel room and a strong desire to go where the boys are! Melanie (Yvette Mimieux) makes the first verplaats with an Ivy League man; Tuggle (Paula Prentiss), a lanky brunette, discovers a boy who is even taller than she is; Angie (Connie Francis) goes clubbing with the leader of a jazz band; and Merritt (Dolores Hart) is swept off her feet door a wealthy Brown senior.

Sometimes when we watch films we come across horrible creatures. And rarely, these creatures are played door not-so-horrible looking actors. Here's a quick lijst I came up with where 5 monsters were played door pretty actresses. I will not be including characters such as Lily Munster from 'The Munsters'. Why not? Because Yvonne DeCarlo still looked beautiful under all that make-up. She still looked pretty much herself. This lijst is for the monsters who are UGLY! Leave and commentaar and tell what u think. These aren't really in any particular order.

For those of u who don't know who she is, Pier Angeli was an Italian actress who starred in films such as 'Teresa', 'The Silver Chalice', and 'Somebody Up There Likes Me'. But perhaps she is best known as the girl whom James Dean fell madly in love with; making her the envy of many women today who are in love with James Dean themselves.

Anna Maria Pierangeli was born on June 19, 1932 in Cagliari, Italy. She had a twin sister named Marisa Pavan who also became an actress. Pier made her film debut in a movie called 'Domani è troppo tardi'. She was soon discovered door Hollywood and was cast in her first American film 'Teresa'. She was an incredibly gorgeous young lady. In my opinion, she was one of the most beautiful girls who ever lived. The only woman prettier than her was Sharon Tate. Throughout the 1950's, young Pier appeared in many fims and finally went to Warner Bros. where she starred in 'The Silver Chalice'. During the making of this particular movie, Pier met the man she would eventually call the love of her life - James Dean. He was busy with a movie of his own called 'East of Eden'. The young couple quickly became infatuated with each other. But sadly,...

20.Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows

As a lot of u know, my favoriete celebrity of ALL-TIME is Judy Garland, so it's no surprise that I would find a movie about her life. But since I love her so much, I ,of course, was critical going in, but I absolutely ADORE this movie. They captured what Judy was like as a person and the tragedy of her life. They managed to balance both out, which is the only way u can tell a story about Judy Garland. They showed her quick wit, her dedication to her children, her kindness, her spunk, and how damaged she was emotionally. Judy Davis does an amazing job...

If you've watched the Nostalgia Critic, you'd see the Critic complain about this guy's acting A LOT and it's clear to see why. Movie reviews generally aren't my thing, and I don't spend a lot of time reading them let alone writing them, but Snowpiercer was one of the best films I've seen in years. Here's the synopsis:

In this sci-fi epic from director Bong Joon Ho, a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet. The final survivors board the SNOWPIERCER, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine. When cryptic messages incite the passengers to revolt, the train thrusts full-throttle towards disaster.(TWC-Radius)

It sounds like a run-of-the-mill dystopian thriller. It sounds like the tail-end passengers will successfully revolt against the high-class front-end passengers. It sounds like the Hunger Games, where at the end of the war the protagonist and their quest prevail.

It's not.

Here's what sets Snowpiercer (2013) apart from other dystopias (note - major spoilers ahead!):

1. The protagonist himself. Chris Evans plays Curtis, the leader of the revolt. He is not pure at hart-, hart - he admits that when the world first froze over, seventeen years before the beginning of the...
