I <3 twilight u?

i like the movie, but i LOVE the book.

I think Twilight is overrated.

And I'm not explaining why, I've explained why I think Twilight is the vilest heap of bullshit that poses as an excuse for a story I've ever read on many other picks.

I haven't read the books nor seen the movie AND I have no desire to do either. Okay, I'll explain why ...
I understand people getting excited over movies, moviestars,pop stars,etc but the Twilight fans are in a class all of their own. There isn't one single time I come on the site (and I pretty much live here) that I don't see a Twilight related quiz,pick,pick disguised as an question in the Answers feature. Also the Twilight content is not strictly reserved for the Twilight spot or associated 1,001 sub Twilight spots. No, sir, some of the Twilight users will post a Twilight pick in any spot they come across and they do the same pick countless times over.
Honestly, how many times and in how many ways can one ask if Edward is hot???

^^^ lol i do acknowledge & agree that there are some fans that are, to put it nicely, not the sharpest tools in the shed. But not all Twilight fans are like that =] I for one think I'm pretty level-headed for the most part. Sure, i have my moments where i get a little overly excited about something fandom related, but I think we're all guilty of that from time to time!

Anyways, to answer the question: I really enjoyed the movie, but I'm not delusional, it's not the best film that's ever been made, nor did i expect it to be.

I have my fangirl moments where I really like Twilight and then I see reason and realise just how badly written it is.

Very cheesy, not very clever or particularly well written, but addictive all the same. I don't think it deserves the hype though.

Cause i've read it and seen it and i wasn't impressed at all!
It has lame storyline and lame dialogs. If you like vampires read/watch Interview with the Vampire or Dracula and if you like romantic stories watch Titanic or something like that. If you want both watch Buffy or even True blood. but not Twilight, cause it destroys the whole idea of vampires!!!
And i'm so incredibly tired of hearing about twilight everywhere!!

Not really a big Twilight person, never really got in to it..

I like Twilight, but come on! It' far from being the best film!
And the book, it's more like a good fanfiction than a good book, but yes can be a bit addictive :)
