Pop Evil

This is the seconde time I've seen them and I enjoyed them very well. Though for this concert I wasn't in the pot and had seats pretty far up. But from the distance it was cool. I got to hear Footsteps and he came into the crowd nearly to the lawn for the last song.

Cheap Trick

I wasn't really familiar with this band before the toon but right when they came out I knew I'd love them. They had a sense of humor stating that they're "a brand new band" and that they "have a single that has only been out for 18 weeks" before playing an older song from the 80's. globaal, algemene they had a sound that I really enjoyed, I could pretend that I was in the 80's. And they just so happened to play the two songs I knew, I'll Be With u and I Want u To Want Me. Also they had so many different and cool guitars. There was one that was literally shaped like a punk rocker.

Poison

I was so excited to see these guys as they were the band that got me into metal and rock in the first place. Right off the bat they played Ride the Wind and Talk Dirty to Me which were two of my favorites. They then did this thing where...

I've been collecting (kay at this point its meer like hoarding) CD's for a long time now and so I wanted to try my hand at doing some album reviews. Basically I'll be rating the cover art and each song on the album. Naturally I'm going to start with my all time favoriete album. So without further delay, here's a review of the Mother Earth album.

The artwork for this album is what drew me in. At the time I had purchased this album, I was having trouble deciding which Within Temptation album I wanted more; Mother Earth of hart-, hart Of Everything. In the end I went with this one Mother Earth because I was very much intrigued door the album cover. The black, green, and cream color scheme is beautiful. And Sharon's ensemble is beautiful; her dress and her crown. Even the way her hair is done up on the album is beautiful. And in the background there is this zodiac sort of cirkel that I wad intrigued by.

So obviously my expectations were high and I was not disappointed. Mother Earth, the song the album was named for, is the first track on the album. And boy was it a grand intro. The orchestral suite in the beginning was enchanting and the whole vibe was...

Delain
Elantris

For this event I was pretty near the front. From what I heard this band is pretty new and I attended one of the stops in their first tour ever. They weren't bad at all for a band that hasn't been preforming long. I liked the female vocals; they were very powerful and passionate. And the harsher male vocals were a nice contrast. In general they had a catchy lijst of songs and put on an ear pleasing show. They didn't quite have a stage presence yet and didn't interact with the crowd too much, but that'll probably come with time.

Insomnium

To be quite honest, while I didn't dislike this band, I wasn't super impressed. They had a nice sound and the vocals & instruments were wonderful. But none of the songs stood out to me. On a performance level they were great and the crowd loved them. But I just couldn't get into the music.

Lacuna Coil

For the first half, not gonna lie, the lighting made it so hard to see. But when I finally got a good view, Lacuna Coil kicked ass. I loved their costuming! They had this bloody asylum attire, it was pretty neat. They had really cool makeup to go with it....

Backsmacking, for those who don't know is when u take a song and put it in reverse. Some artists of course decide to put reversed lyrics in their own songs. I always found those to be interesting and so I decided to make a lijst of these songs. In the parenthesis are the lyrics. And yes, I did have to reverse some of these myself lmao so some of the lyrics may not be exactly correct (and some I couldn't understand at all). I'll probably add meer as I find them.

- Utada Hikaru's Sanctuary (I Need meer Affection Than u Know)

- Crystal Castles' Femen (They literally took Scala & Kolacny Brothers' chorale cover and reversed it)

- Bedtimestories' Harpies (They took Crystal Castles' Femen and remixed that, so it's like coverception)

- Ambra's Secret World Of Crystals (This was in a different language)

- Holy Grin's Drvnkfvck (No Lyrics, just backward instruments)

- Holy Grin's Wolfchant (Just a drawn out 'oooohhh' that didn't sound quite right played before reversing the resto of the song)

Probably the best-looking 46 year-old person I know of, which is fitting for the glamorous authority she voices.
Recently, while surfing through Twitter, I bumped into a tweet door Ellen Degeneres where she interviewed a young boy who was a big fan of Idina Menzel. And as a surprise, Idina Menzel was there too! I can just imagine how joyful that boy was. However, this kind of saddened me. As someone who's also a huge fan of Idina Menzel, watching that little boy meeting her idol made me happy, and sad. Happy because a young child finally met with the person he idolized. And sad because I wanted to meet/contact her for a long time. This gave me an idea. Maybe if I write about why I look up to her, then she could acknowledge me. I know the odds of that happening are very low, but I do have hope of one dag meeting her...not necessarily through this article. Not to mention, I've been meaning to write an artikel about why I admire her, I just didn't know what to write in it.

This artikel will get quite emotional since I'll be talking about my personal history regarding her and Frozen, but I just want to express why I'm a fan.

Another round of concert reviews from the bands I've seen this jaar so far.

Slot Machine

Slot Machine was pretty cool; the lead vocalist had this nifty pimp cane lol. He also had these really cool sunglasses that looked almost futuristic and robotic. All of the members were wearing suits. I wasn't as into their muziek but they were lively and kept me entertained. And they taught the crowd a bit of Korean. I was about six rows of people back and got a pretty good view.

Kiha And The Faces

These guys were super cool as an opening band. They were energetic and humorous. They invited the crowd to fill in parts of the song for them after teaching us the lyrics. That was part of the humor seeing as the part we filled in was a variation of 'la la la' with some Korean at the end. And he was like "it's okay that's not in Korean its gibberish...okay so the last part is, feel free to just say whatever u want. He also crowd surfed for a bit. It was a fun time. I didn't know the band beforehand but I found some meer songs to listen too.

Hi everyone!

FYI, this lijst is not in order from favorieten to least favorites, simply because I found it impossible to determine which songs would occupy the top, boven portion of the lijst over the other songs. The songs are alphabetized according to title.

Also, my favoriete songs often shift drastically within relatively short periods of time, so this lijst may be subject to change.

Anyway, let's start!

All In - Monsta X

All With u - Taeyeon

Ave Maria - Franz Schubert

Bad Girl Good Girl - Minhyuk, Minhyuk, BamBam, Youngjae

This was the last one I typed, a while back. Here are some meer wonderful underground bands, in no particular order. link

Blvck Ceiling

Genre: Witch House

Blvck Ceiling is an American band formed in 2011 door a man named Daniel Cuccia (aka Dan Ocean). The band has a variety of variations to it's name that includes BL▲CK † CEILING, BL4CK C3ILING, Black Ceiling, and even Blvckceiling. There isn't too much other information out there on the one-man band, because it is so underground and Dan himself admits that he likes being able to produce muziek with a sense of anonymity. Like a lot of Witch House bands--as the name implies--Blvck Ceiling is themed heavily in creepy and occult imagery. Another distinct feature of Witch House is the use of symbols in the band name that make the bands harder to zoek up. Take the alias BL▲CK † CEILING for example. Another thing that Witch Hose is known for, is sampling vocals from other songs, but distorting them to make it sound...

...And one u should give a seconde chance.

I've been known to have muziek tastes that aren't for everyone. People tend to be a little crazy about what muziek they do and don't like but if it makes u feel good who really cares, right? I was up last night watching muziek videos for one of the artists on here and I was thinking to myself "Why aren't they meer popular? Why does nobody I know talk about them?" Then I answered my own vraag and decided to inform the masses! So lets get started!

Lets start with the one u should give a seconde chance...Carly Rae Jepsen. Of course u know her, whether u want to of not. You're probably thinking "I already know her and I don't like her, so why should I give her another glance?" but I have an answer for that, like I do to 22% of life's other questions.

The answer is that if u love 80s muziek like I do, and the fabulous synth sounds that accompany it, u quite possibly would love her third album Emotion. An album that I'm still mad about that didn't get nominated for ANY Grammy's. The same jaar that a certain someone else's not-so-aptly titled...

Third part to my top, boven 50 songs artikels link & link I decided to go all out and lijst the other 50.

75. Gives u Hell (All American Rejects): Most of the reason why this song made it into my top, boven 100 is because of the fond memories. Way back in 8th grade my friend introduced me to it on the bus ride to one of our field trip locations. It was love ever since. Not to mention the song itself is very catchy and enjoyable. And I feel like a lot of people can relate.

favoriete Line: Now where's your picket fence love and where's that shiny car?

favoriete Part: When u see my face hope it gives u hell hope it gives u hell.

74. To Love u meer (Celine Dion): This is another childhood song that I really enjoy--at one point it was my favoriete song. Plus the vocals are very impressive. I love the part where she just holds out the note. And the...

Thank you Mr Part.
Hi guys, I would like to write down some of my favourite muziek door Arvo Part, an Estonian composer.

1. Summa For Strings

This is definitely my number 1 favourite, because while listening to this music. It's like telling me that there is still hope for me, especially in our everyday life and the different challenges that we face.

2. My Heart's In the Highlands

This sad muziek transports me to the Scottish highlands, it's base on a poem door Robert Burns. The songs starts with the chorus, giving it a little change.

3. De Profundis

This powerful choral is very dramatic in the middle of the song, before gradually becoming relaxing once again.

4. Festina Lente

Another slow and yet relaxing musical score door him, and for the same reason as Summa For Strings.

Thank u Mr Part

Only four make it through the cut, I'll try my best to listen to the other songs ASAP!

1. White Christmas - Bing Crosby

link

Christmas' iconic song and the best-selling single of all time. I remember swaying along with my vrienden a long time geleden to this song while sitting down at an outdoor concert - and after a while we got a little off in our swaying and started bumping into each others' shoulders lol. It was hilarious.

2. All I Want For Christmas Is u - Mariah Carey

Vangelis
Hi everyone, I'm going to write some of my favourite scores from Vangelis.

Chariots of Fire

This was the theme song that make me want to watch the movie, the theme song was played prominently at the London 2012 Olympics 4 years ago. Whenever I listen to this music, it reminds me of a runner running during a race and won goud medal in the end!

Alexander

Although that I am not a fan of this movie, the muziek were very memorable and inspirational. Especially 'Eternal Alexander' which was play at the ending credits, it was like Alexander had live on spiritually.

Blade Runner

This movie is set in futuristic times and it's theme sounds like a remix. I haven't seen this movie yet and therefore, I have no rights to judge the movie yet.

Thank u Vangelis!

Only three films make it to the cut, what do u think of them?

Though it's been a while since the last one (link) I had a chance to attend meer concerts. Naturally I was super enthusiastic about them all and wanted to share the experiences again.

Yellowcard

So I got the pleasure of seeing one of their last concerts, they announced that they were calling it quits at the toon I was attending. So that was pretty cool to know that I got to see them before they disbanded. I was kind of sandwiched in the middle of the crowd (which is evidently worse than the back) though so I didn't have a great view. But I heard that the violinist did a back flip which sounded neat lol. And they played Ocean Avenue which was my favoriete door them.

Good Charlotte

I kind of caught these guys near the end. So I was in the very back and couldn't see quite clearly. However they played 3 of my 5 favorieten including; The River, I Just Wanna Live, and I Don't Want To Be In Love. Before playing I Don't Wanna Be In Love Joel was all like "that's a lie though, I do...

For all those voting Americans who haven’t made up their minds yet, the new rap parody ‘DUMP DRUMPF!’ was created to help u out.

The original parody combines the populair 90’s classic Kris Kross song “Jump” with a not-so-little known fact (thanks to comedian John Oliver) that Donald Trump’s family name was changed from Drumpf.

The brains behind the fresh tune are indie hip-hop artist Jensen Reed and comedian/actor Ben Giroux, who are clearly ‘with her’. Jensen adds, “I couldn’t think of a better way to reach out to young voters and help stop the maniac Donald Trump from becoming President than create a parody of one of the classic hip-hop songs from the 90’s!”

Hi, everyone! Peaceandlove67 here, and I'm going to write an artikel on my top, boven thirty favoriete bands. These are bands I've listened to since I was a little kid. So, without further ado, here is my list!

30. U2
U2 has been one of my favoriete bands since I was ten years old. I like their style, and I really love Bono's voice. It's very unique. The Edge is among my favoriete guitarists of all time. He is just amazing. My favoriete U2 song is "With of Without You." It really shows off Bono's vocal range. It has great lyrics, too.

29. Weezer
Weezer is among my favoriete 90's bands. I love a lot of their songs. I think my favoriete album has to be Pinkerton. It's the only album where I cannot pick a favoriete song. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd probably pick "El Scorcho."

28. Pearl Jam
I've only been a Pearl jam fan since the late 2000's, when their song, "Just Breathe," came out. I liked the song, and I decided to look up other songs. I found the songs on their album, Ten, and I liked them better. I think my favoriete Pearl jam song is "Jeremy." I know it's sad, but it has a lot of realism in it, and I'm a big fan of realism, being...

RIP Robin and James.
Hi guys, I know that I'm late but this artikel is written for the 1st Anniversary of James Horner who passed away last jaar in June at a tragic plane accident. I will be written a few of my favourite movie scores door him.

Titanic

I first heard this in 1998 when I borrow it from my Filipino maid and I'm glad that it's been 9 years since my brother bought this album in Singapore. The score is really memorable and it has been compared to Frozen, especially the song 'My hart-, hart Will Go On' and 'Let It Go'!

schommel, swing Kids

I did not know that he stel samen the muziek for this, and it was really sad and dramatic. Especially 'The Letter' and 'Swing Heil', that I cried when I heard the news of his untimely death.

Bicentennial Man

Another sad score to this movie, all of the scores are very depressive to be honest and I cried especially at 'The Gift of Mortality'. But on the other hand, it's very relaxing to listen to.

Nightwish
So I've had the chance to attend many meer great concerts and decided to give them all mini reviews like last time.

In This Moment

In This Moment had amazing stage complimenten they had this little red tent thing and this neat background to go with it. And these wooden coffin shaped fan frames. Miaria Brink also had a throne-chair thing. Of all of the bands they had the best show. They had so many freaking awesome costume changes and the back up dancers were kickass. They would also bring on different stage complimenten like a roze speech pedestal during the Sex Metal Barbie performance. Maria also had this really crazy smoke gun. 11/10 I approve. It's a shame that I was like 4ish rows back and the drunk guy volgende to me made it harder to enjoy. On the plus side they played three of my favorites; Blood, Whore, and Sex Metal Barbie.

Starkill

For this band I was off to the right in the seconde row of people. From here I could see that they had their band name & logo hanging as a backdrop, but other than that there wasn't really any decoration. As far as costuming goes the boys wore shirts with their band name and one...

Nicki gets a pic because I actually really like her lol. She helped me realize that just because I hate one song by an artist doesn't mean I have to hate 'em all.
I love pretty much all muziek and I find it really hard to dislike any song. Typically I like songs of find them to be simply okay. Seldom do I come across a song I don't like of simply cannot stand. However there are a few that manage to be so awful (in my opinion) that I'll turn off the radio of change the station every time. Funny thing is the 14 songs on this lijst are really the only songs (I can think of at the moment) that I don't like.

With that in mind just because I hate the song doesn't mean I hate the artist. In fact I actually like most all of the artists on featured in this list; they just so happened to have also made some of the most dreadful songs to penetrate my eardrums. That zei I'm also going to lijst a few songs I like door the artist I just bashed to keep this from being a hate-fest.

So first and foremost a dishonorable mention to Justin Bieber's Confident, Vic's Wobble, Avril Lavinge's Hello Kitty, and Maroon 5's Sugar.

Somewhere out there, beneath the pale moon light
Someone's thinking of me, and loving me tonight

Somewhere out there, someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another, in that big somewhere out there

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing, on the same bright star

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping, underneath the same big sky

Somewhere out there, if love can see us through
Then we'll be together, somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby

Now, Arab sheikhs on the burning sands,
Come into their harems and clap their hands,
Said, "Come on, girls, are u ready to play?
Let's have a little meer of that swingin' today."
Now, in the land of Fu Manchu,
The girls all now do the Suzie-Q,
Clap their hands in the center of the floor,

Now, geisha girls in old Japan,

Since they learned to say, "Yeah!

Now, Gypsy caravans have changed their mode,

Doin' the schommel, swing on the Gypsy fiddle.

I know I could lie but I’m telling the truth
Wherever I go there’s a shadow of you
I know I could try looking for something new
But wherever I go, I'll be looking for you

Some people lie but they're looking for magic
Others are quietly going insane
I feel alive when I’m close to the madness
No easy love could ever make me feel the same

I know I could lie, but I won't lie to you
Wherever I go, you're the ghost in the room
I don't even try looking for something new
Cause wherever I go, I'll be looking for you

Some people try but they can't find the magic
Others get down on their knees and they pray
I come alive when I’m close to the madness
No easy love could ever make me feel the same
Make me feel the same
Make me feel the same, same, same

We made a fire
Went down in the flames
We sailed an ocean
And drowned in a wave
Built a cathedral
But we never prayed
We had it all, yeah
And we walked away

Point of no return
And now it's just too late to turn around
I try to forgive you,
But I struggle 'cause I don't know how
We built it up so high and now I'm fallin'
It's a long way down
It's a long way down from here

We had a mountain
But took it for granted
We had a spaceship,
But we couldn't land it
We found an island,
But we got stranded
We had it all, yeah
Who could've planned it?

Point of no return
And now it's just too late to turn around
I try to forgive you,
But I'm struggling 'cause I don't know how
