The story focuses on Princess Celestia and the mane six.
Three Hundred and Fifty door Void Chicken:
link This story is a little bittersweet. Its a time travel story that focuses on Twilight (my favoriete pony) and Sweetie Belle (my favoriete CMC). Honestly this story is quite interesting. Its starts off with a normal dag of the CMC playing and escalates quickly with the mane six finding out that Sweetie Belle is dying due to a hart-, hart disease. Desperate to find a cure, Twilight makes a time machine to take them to the future where they may have the cure Sweetie Belle needs. This one is fairly long, but a good read.

link This is honestly the best fanfic I have read. Keep in mind that I'm not a big reader, but Visiden Visidane is an insanely good writer. I must of read at least five chapters if not meer a day. Its seriously that good! It is also insanely long. Book One is finished and is a whopping forty-eight chapters and 195,805 words. Book Two is not finished, but is already fifty-nine chapters and 261,667. Believe me it is worth the time to read. However, it is a bit dark and violent so if u are a young fan its up to your discretion, but I'm just letting u know. Visiden Visidane does a great job of capturing the characters of MLPFIM as well as adding his own intriguing characters such as Terrato (Princess Celestia and Luna's brother) and Vanguard Clash (a pony/wolf Legion commander and the love interest of both Twilight and Applejack). The love driehoek aspect of the book is pretty intense I'm rooting for Twilight because she did meet him first! There are far meer interesting characters, but those are two very important ones. What I also like about this story is that Visiden Visidane
gives each of the mane six a chance to shine at multiple parts of the story.
Now to what its actually about. Twilight finds a strange artifact that transport her to a new place. She finds out from Vanguard that this is the outskirts of Equestria and it is a place filled with war and violence (it cannot be reached normally because there is a protective barrier surrounding it). Against Celestia's wishes Twilight decides that she must help these ponies fight for their freedom. The rest of the mane six come with her of course and then they learn there own skills and help in fighting a war. In the second, book things escalate so much that Celestia lowers the barrier and actually has all of the ponies draft at least one person from their family to the Legion army.
