To me, it sounds like the same old thing from every song. It's like:

"I love to drink me some bier and play-ay-ay on my guitar. I love my truck to drive in and shoot deer."

How do songs like that even get famous? It's a turnoff for me, and when I hear it on the radio, I don't even want to hear it. It's all acoustics and shit like that. Why would people want to listen to it when they can listen to something else, such as rock of rap?

I just hate country music, and if u like it, don't send me hate.

Um, no, not all country songs are like that. Perhaps just the ones you've heard. There's two types of countries.. Take it from someone who was raised in Mississippi.. Stereotypical country may sound like that. But in reality, REAL country is about family and love. :)

Jade_23 Not all, actually. Each song has a different allegory, along with a different note. You just need to listen closely. You might think that because they use similar instruments, but not notes. :3 It's okay if you don't, at least you said why.

NocturnalMirage I am not particularly a fan of country music either but it's not a surprise. I'm Hungarian, who lives at the other end of the globe and country sounds too alien and foreign for our ears. Not saying that I don't have a very few songs in that genre I don't like though. But all in all, I prefer classic rock and metal. :D

alinah_09 I honestly love acoustic music...just don't know if they're country...probably not. :P

candylover246 Haha, that example! XD But all in all, I agree with Jade_23. Not all country music is like that. It's an entire genre of music, it can't all sound the exact same thing. Throughout my life, I've heard quite a few country songs and there has been some diversity. It's actually good in my opinion. Not trying to start a 'country music war', just stating my opinion.
