Chapter Four…Flabbergastation
I was woken door the phone ringing in the morning. I ignored it, and called out for my mother and my father.
No answer.
The phone stopped ringing. It was silent.
I was scared, worried, and confused.
About five minuten later the phone rang again. I picked it up.
“Hello?” I yawned.
“ Hi, this is the California State Police Department, I am calling to inform u that your mother and father were murdered last night.”
I was flabbergasted. “WHAT?” I yelled?
“No, no. They were on a plane, they were coming to see me. The lady, she called!” I ranted.
“I’m so sorry. Ma’am.”
I started to feel dizzy; I hung up the phone and sat down.
I refused to cry.
Absolutely refused.
I just sat there for a while. I didn’t know what to do. Maxy came and laid down volgende to me. He started to lick my hand, and I petted him on the head.
