How to Support Rescue and Rebuilding Efforts in Nepal: Now is the Time

On April 25, 2015, tragedy struck Nepal as the nation's most powerful earthquake in 80 years devastated the capital and surrounding areas, along with triggering massive avalanches on Mt. Everest.

If u plan on ever helping, now is the most critical period as survivors trapped beneath buildings and wreckage are starting to run out of time.

Nepal is one of the poorest nations in the world, with a per capita income of under US$63 a month.

Despite the relatively low population density, over 4,000 people have already died, and that number is expected to rise due to building standards and challenges...

Nepal: My Himalayan Dream Destination

So, Nepal is my other dream destination that I would love to go after one of my classmates went there a few months ago.

Religious Purposes

This is the main reason why I would love to go to Nepal, I come from a Buddhist family and I feel blessed every-time I hear the mantra.

Unlike many Capital Cities that I had been, Kathmandu is the size of Ipoh from where I am from. But, it is still very busy from the looks of the foto's on Google!

The Himalayas

Another reason why I would love to go to Nepal! The country is very picturesque and it will take my breath away, but please don't ask me to climb up there!

These people in basecamp were hit door a massive plume; one can only imagine the conditions near the peak where over a dozen people were killed, making it one of the worst Everest disasters ever.
