"Poland is so pretty Heinrich. The way that the snow is so light on the gras that u see the green and white together..." madeliefje, daisy zei while walking with Heinrich, looking over at him.
"It's cold." Heinrich zei with a yawn.
"Yeah but we should be alright- there's a lot of wood around here." madeliefje, daisy giggled out.
"I don't know about that. It's fairly wet." Heinrich zei to her.
Little did I know was that this was the conversation that I doomed madeliefje, daisy to die. I should have seen the snow and told her to turn back because winter was coming but I couldn't have predicted what kind of winter it was.
The first night the snow was light but it was very cold and door the seconde night we were trapped in the outskirts of a city, destroyed door beasts and having barely any shelter. We held each other for warmth and managed to not get hypothermia but door the third dag daisys hands were turning blue and she couldn't stop shivering.
We made love one last time and while we were fairly warm I couldn't help think about how I was starting to starve- door dag six we lost the rest of our food and madeliefje, daisy toes turned cold. I don't know why I didn't freeze but something tells me that it's me being bigger that kept me alive and unfrozen.
dag ten madeliefje, daisy started telling me she heard god talking to her. She told me god was saying we were going to be together in heaven- that she saw a bright light coming. I told her that it was the snow but she was out of it, she couldn't hear me outside of what she was beginning to hear.

"Daisy..." Heinrich whispered out softly as he woke up, looking at her. She looked beautiful, with her long blonde eyelashes covered in slight frost. She was pale white, her skin cold to the touch and her hands were almost black from the cold. "Daisy wake up." Heinrich zei as he looked up, seeing the sun begin to show. "Daisy the light came." He whispered out excitedly, shaking her but seeing her head fall to it's side lifeless. "Daisy wake up!" Heinrich screamed, putting his hand on her face. "Daisy wake up!" Heinrich was now screaming as loud as he could, shaking her as hard as he could before just dropping her. "Why!?!" He screamed out sobbing, finally crying as he sat on his knees. "Why?!" He asked once more, brushing the back of his hand against her face as he sobbed so hard he was shaking. "Daisy please." He whispered out. "Daisy please come back, I love you. Please don't leave me alone." He sobbed out. "I need you." He brought her closer. "Daisy I need u please." He zei to her. For two days he held her, asking her to come back until he was too weak to get up, to even stand. He needed to eat and as he held Daisy's lifeless body- her meat still fresh from being frozen he looked down at her.
"Daisy, I'm so sorry. I'll never forget you, please...forgive me." Heinrich sobbed out as he bit into her neck- the flesh cold as ice but sickeningly delicious as he continued to eat to his stomachs content. When he was done he looked down at what he did- her neck bone expose and her eyes now open, staring back at him as her blood was around his mouth.
