when does jacob cut his hair too short i think it looks better short does anyone else?

In New Moon Jake cuts his hair short because it's meer convenient(Sp?) that way because when he shifts into a wolf his hair would be longer if he had long hair so he cuts it short.
And ya i think it looks better that way too.

I think he looks super HOT when he cuts his hair. In Eclipse I read that he was trying to grow it a bit longer because he thought Bella prefered it like that but she told him she liked it both ways.
