I realize I'm gonna get some serious backlash from this statement but I'm not really a fan of "The Little Mermaid". It was my favoriete movie when I was six. I had the bedsheets and everything and "Part of Your World" and was the only song heard in my house for at least two years. However as I grew up and realized that my dream of becoming a mermaid and living with vis was probably not going to come true I just wasn't able to find anything meer substantial to keep me interested.

Ergo I was not as excited about this episode as the majority of the fandom. Happily the writers quite literally blew my expectations out of the water.

Ariel's story was beautiful. I first I was like, "oh yeah typical Ariel ditzy girl flitting though life without thinking how her action effect others" but the ending when she calls out to Eric and nothing happens and then she tries again and again. I nearly cried. Then Gina... oh Gina. The punishment she comes up with just fascinate me. "The only fate worse then being rejected is never having a chance at love at all". That is truly the worst punishment she could come up with because it is something she experienced herself.

I'd also like to say the the echo cave is probably the best thing ever conceived in the history of OUAT! Every confession just made me even meer happy then the last.

After Hook's confession:

I just want to hug him. All sweet and venerable with those puppy dog eyes. Hook is quickly becoming my favoriete male character.

After Snow's confession:

My poor baby. I forget how much of a tole the curse really had on Snow. She is always so positive, u forget that she lost the chance to be a mother. Something she was clearly born to do. Now that she has finally admitted that everything is not alright she can verplaats on with her life

After Charming's confession:

For the first time I'm glad Charming didn't die in the pilot. u two lovebirds find a nice cave somewhere and get to babymaking... Yeah this isn't really relevant to what he said. I honestly wasn't listening I was still so overjoyed about what Snow had just said. Much like Mulora I refuse to let the writers knock me down right after they make me so happy. Instead I just ignore them until I absolutely must come back down the earth.

After Emma's confession:

I was really worried when the bridge was completed that we wouldn't get to hear Emma's secret. So glad we did. I love swanfire but Neal really is Emma's weakness. When he's around she reverts back to the confused lonely little girl she was when she met him. Don't get me wrong that girl was adorable in "Tallahassee" but that's not Emma anymore she is strong and independent and doesn't need anyone and... I'm gonna pin another target on myself here (I'm a glutton for punishment)... he hurt her. He hurt her bad. I'm the last person to blame someone for trying to return to a place and time when they felt happy, but from experience, it is just not possible. Life doesn't have a rewind. u have to verplaats forward. This doesn't mean Neal isn't still an option just that she has to stop looked at what they had and start looking at what they could have.

I'm just so proud of Emma for doing something I have never been able to do and looking forward. I'm so proud of everyone and the massive amount of emotional progress that went on in this episode. Now we just have to find a way to get Rumple Gina and Neal in to that echo cave.

Speaking of Rumple and Gina, it's good to get some Gina x goud interaction. I'd hadn't truly realized how much I missed their witty banter.

"If you're thinking of calling a squid for it's ink I've tried that"

"Well you've had fun haven't you?" "I'm not interested in Calamari"

This made me feel all warm and fuzzy in way I haven since season one. Those two are in a level of their own as far as acting talent goes. All the actor really gave it there all this episode and the result was perfection.

In fact in this whole episode there was only one small thing that did not fill me with joy. At the very end when Gina gave Ariel her voice back. I would have liked it if for some reason she couldn't give Arial her voice, like she left it in Storybook of something. It would have been interesting and a fun tribute to the movie to have her try to complete her task without it. Anyway It's such a small thing and this episode was over all so gratifying. Season three just gets better and better!

The Best Character on the toon
The Best Character on the Show
Well... Probably all u Tamara lovers will hate me and this article. I don't know if some people are gonna get crazy, but here it is. (Once again, keep in mind that this is only my opinion)

1. I'll start off with the obvious one: She's a hypocrite. It’s ridiculous that Tamara used a magic boon to escape when all she’s been talking about is “magic is evil”. She hates magic, yet throughout the entire toon she's been using magic.

2. Not only is she constantly complaining about Emma, but she's in this relationship just for her interest and she's cheating on that poor Neal! Bitch, if you...

Okay so I'm going to clear up what I think about certain ships on this show.

SWANFIRE:
In my opinion, the best couple on the show. They have some things in common and have such good chemistry. They admitted they love each other in 2x21 and that's enough to prove their love. He was willing to fall through the portal so she could stay with Henry.

CAPTAIN SWAN:
Okay, so I really don't understand this Captain zwaan-, zwaan shit. They don't have any chemistry, she betrayed him on the beanstalk, knocked him out after he stabbed Gold, pushed his (broken) ribs and punched him in 2x09. So where is the love there?...
