I love both, but Ravenna is no match for Gina.

Not a fan of Reavenna, Regina is best evil queen. And she really knows how to capture Evil Queen's face and smirk. Plus the voices she makes. Excellent!!
And the outfits.. God, where's her closet, i want to steal all of her wardrobe or to kidnap her fashion desigher xd

I just don't agree with the above stated comment. In my view Ravenna's face expression is most suited for the evil queen. And her outfits are stunning. Beyond comparison. But it's my view, an opinion.

I've never been more of a fan of The Evil Queen until I saw Lana Parrilla take on the part. Pure brilliance. The voice, the body language, the stare, the facial expression, the emotion and of course the killer costumes which Lana fills out like a goddess. Just call me an Evil Regal straight to the bone. :)

Ravenna was evil because a man ruined her life. A king used his power to enslave her. and the story goes on with deep facts and emotions. I get you like gina but don't try to make Ravenna look bad with lies.

^ I can't speak for her but, Cassie is actually pretty indifferent. She's not a biased person I have debated with her countless times. Her comment was not a matter of likes/dislikes.

That's all opinion. And like I said, I'm in no position to speak for her. I personally don't remember Ravenna's motives much, it's been a while since I've seen the movie so it's not fair for me to pass such harsh accusations.

My real reasoning is not beuase I'm obsessed with Regina and I didn't watch SWATH.
I watched the movie. i know Ravenna has a past.
BUT, she did not try to kill Snow White because of men. That's just crazy. She wanted to kill Snow White so she could stay young forever. She developed the stigma to stay young forever because of men (as you put it. I'm pretty sure it was more because her mother was killed)

With Ravenna and Snow White, Snow White had absolutely nothing to do with Ravenna's tragedy, whatsoever.
At least with Regina and Snow White, Snow did contribute to the tragedy, so I find her vengeance to be a lot more focused.

That's why i am not a fan of Reavenna. Don't like her goal (to be young forever, seriously, that's insane, i would never write that storyline for the evil queen). Charlize maybe a great actress, but she does not own this role. Plus i never pictured Evil Queen as blonde. Also i didn't like Snow White in that movie as well.

When i've watched Reavenna, it was like i've watched a little girl on a school play. I think Charlize did not do very good job on this role. Her voice is so fake.
Lana Parrilla knows how to make wicked smile, eyes, voice,... on her own, while Charlize has to speak on a microphone, plus she wasn't looked very wicked...

Lana Parrilla can be creepy and very beautiful at the same time, that's why she owns that role...

the "how dare you" - above is an attack. And what do you call it when 3 or 4 persons come against one single person. It does feel like an attack.

Like I said I'm done, so you only have to worry about 2 people. In fact I do agree with you in that Ravanna is a great complex character but I also agree with the other two that Gina is the better character. I'm of mixed beliefs and am on both sides in one way or another again.

Okay I know these comments are over a year old but it's hilarious how princess-Yvonne had to comment that she disagreed with all the Regina fans for no reason and didn't expect people to comment that it was kind of uncalled for no one was questions her or asked for that. Ravenna was also a pretty one dimensional character from what I recalled.

OMG I love Ravenna! And Charlize. Love Lana, but not Regina.
