I'm afraid I'm going to be voting for Cora for a while but just so everyone knows if she wasn't here I'd be voting for either Ana's mother or Maurice. At this moment I'm leaning towards Maurice. That guy just really pisses me off.

Ana's mother was horrible to Ana, but TBH i'm just glad Alphonse is gone.

Ana's mother didn't support her daughter like a mother should, but at least she let Ana make her own choices. She could have killed Will and made her stay. Which is why I cant pick her until after Cora is gone. I just hope Milah doesn't go out this round. She wasn't the worlds best mother but she doesn't deserve to go out before Cora, Ana's mother and Maurice or even Edwin for that matter although I could live with that..

I don't think Milah should go at this stage (obviously because I picked Ana's mother), but IMO Edwin and Cora are better than her.

Edwin sent his daughter to an insane asylum because she would not do as she was told. Cora killed the person her daughter loved so that she would do as she was told. Neither Alice or Regina had any say in their own lives and if the stepped out of line they were either beat into submission (at least emotionally if not physically) or shamed and disowned. Although there is no question that they loved their children, both are manipulative and domineering parenting traits I would not wish on any child.

Milah abandoned her son because she wasn't strong enough to stay. Which shows weakness of character but not necessarily bad parenting. She did the right thing leaving him with Rumple. It would not have been safe for him on the open seas and Rumble loved him. It would have been cruel to take the Bae away from him. Still not a great parent but definitely not as bad as some on here.

Good points, but I still think Edwin and Cora are better (IMO)...My gran is the only one in my family that watches OUAT and she doesn't like Milah all that much, and I always find myself defending Milah. I use most of them reasons you listed to defend her actually.

I'd give Edwin a pass because it was actually his horrible wife that was running the show. He was just a puppet. Cora however did inexcusable things to Regina. I don't care if her twisted mind thought she was doing what was best for her.

Haha didn't you say you liked Cora or something? Lol. Anyway nobody's asking you to think differently about Cora, even though I disagree with you.

I love Cora because she is interesting and complex and because Barbra gives the character such wonderful depth and charisma. My fondness for her as a character however doesn't change the fact that she was a horrible person who did horrible things for bad reasons. A brilliant villain and a delightful character but still a horrible person.

Yeah, Barbara is awesome. I can't imagine anyone else playing her. However there are other "horrible" people who have done horrible things for bad reasons. Not just her. (Like Rumple, King George, even Regina when she was the "evil queen")

I know that. I don't excuse those characters actions either but I still love them. (Well not George but I don't hate him either) But this is about parenting and Regina and Rumple never did what Cora did to Gina.

^^ because she is a horrible person and a horrible parent. Rumple and Gina are at times also horrible people but they have always been good parents.

I don't think Rumple's good, but each to their own.

He gave up his dream so his son would have a father, he gave up his soul in order to save his sons life and he spent every waking moment trying to make up for the one impulsive mistake he made as a parent. His whole life revolved around Bae. If that doesn't qualify you as a good parent I don't know what does.

Just leave me be with my opinion, please. Stop trying to change my mind. I don't see him as a good father in anyway. Your basically saying that my opinion is wrong by saying "If that doesn't qualify you as a good parent I don't know what does." I wish people could just accept opinions.
