One Direction’s BIGGEST regrets! Louis Tomlinson & Harry Styles say….

One Direction have a pretty sweet setup at the minute. They are each millionaires, have more fans than they can shake a stick at, more awards than they can count and are very much one of the biggest UK exports of their time……but despite all that the boys still have some big regrets.

Whether it’s awful fashion choices, Twitter feuds, outspoken interviews or embarrassing comments each of the lads has something they’d like to change or take back and we have listed a few of them here for you.

In the band’s newest book, Niall Horan admitted that he regrets leaving school at such a young age. He auditioned for the X Factor when he was only 16 years old, so didn’t finish his education or attend college. He’d like to go back some day and explained:

“My childhood was cut short by The X Factor because One Direction took off and I never really got the chance to finish school or do my exams or anything like that.”

Harry Styles meanwhile regret a few of his many, many tattoos and told We Love Pop: “There are….some that are just awful. I regret this one on my wrist here [done by Ed Sheeran], I regret this. I mean, these are just crap!”

Zayn Malik regrets some of the band’s wardrobe choices, particularly the horrible coloured suits they wore for a Nokia photoshoot back in the day. He said: “It was our decision to wear the things but then when you look back at it in a few years you’re like ‘oops.’”

Harry couldn’t agree more, which may explain why he sticks very tightly to his black skinny jeans these days. He added: “It was the first time anyone had given us clothes. We were like ‘oh is that free? I’ll wear that!’ It was awful but it was free.”

Liam has a more serious regret. He regrets scaring the life out of his fans when he went for a late night stroll outside the balcony of his London apartment. He tweeted last year saying: “You may have seen a photo of me today taken on top of a building. I regret being there and having a photo taken. It was a stupid and irresponsible thing to do. I am sorry, and do not endorse any fans trying to repeat this, as it is extremely dangerous.”

If Louis Tomlinson could change one thing, it would most likely be the failed sale of football team Doncaster Rovers. He was gutted when his buy in was cancelled a few months ago and told fans:

“I’m absolutely gutted the Doncaster Rovers deal is not going ahead. I am desperate for the club to be given the recognition it deserves

I was explicitly told that the deal to buy the club was not dependent on the money raised by Crowdfunding. Unfortunately I was misled.”

I do wish that Louis will take advantage of other opportunities to work with the Rovers’ management. He seems very passionate about their success and he could certainly offer financial support and name recognition. Would love to see him have the time in the future to become a board member and work his way into ownership from there. Unfortunately he may have to work a little harder to prove his leadership ability, but he’s smart enough to figure out how to best do that. I would support any future endeavors he takes on, just as I pledged to the Tomlinson-Ryan Trust last summer.

Their regrets are fortunately minor in the greater scheme of things.
