Not only are One Direction and Justin Biebergoing head-to-head in the album chart on November 13, but Directioners and Beliebers were battling it out to win the \'Biggest Fans\' award during last night\'s MTV EMAs.

And as you can imagine, the 1D fandom were NAHT happy when JB\'s fans walked away from the ceremony with the gong, making up the fifth of Justin\'s 5 awards from the evening.

It wasn\'t all bad news for One Direction, though, as they did scoop up the award for \'Best Pop\' artist - but that didn\'t stop Directioners going all 50 shades of cray over on twitter, reacting to news that they hadn\'t won the fan voted \'Biggest Fans\' award. BOO.

The moral of this story? Two fandoms going up against each other is HARD, man - but HOORAY for Beliebers and Directioners for having great taste in music.
