1. When did u start watching the toon and what made u continue watching?
Oh wow, I started watching the toon when it came out here in the uk. I saw the trailer for it and I thought it would be good. Plus my dad wanted to watch it anyway because of the basketball. I continued watching because I just really loved where the characters and storylines were going. u know how u can watch to the end of an episode and just die to know what happens next? Well that started to happen to me after the first few episodes! I love season 1!
2. What is your favoriete aspect of the show?
The courage and optimism. The fact that everyone can relate to at least one aspect of the show. Being able to relate and see how that character deals with a situation is very helpful sometimes. But I love how all the characters step up and look forward. They can go through hell but still come through. Some people could say that’s unrealistic but I find it really inspiring.
Mmmmm this is such a tough one. It changes from time to time. It’s either haley of Nathan. I hated haley in season 2, so much. But I guess really my favourite character has to be Nathan. I just loved all of his storylines and watching him develop as a character. And those people that say James can’t act. At least he looks emotional when he cris, rather than a constipated rat *coughlucascough*. Hehe sorry. But yeah, I love him! He just reminds me a lot of my boyfriend. And he’s smoking hot! :) :) :)
4. Who is your favoriete secondary character and why?
Ok I guess it would have to be haley. I relate to her also, which I find good, like I zei above. Musician that wants to teach etc etc. but I’m not getting married and pregnant in high school… no way! Haley definitely has her moments when I don’t like her, but I think she gets a worse time from fans when she does something wrong.
5. Who is your least favoriete character and why?
Lucas. That was easy, lol. Just my opinion, but he is just so overrated as a guy! I only like him when he is with peyton. I hate the way he just stares at someone when they are arguing. But I like that peyton seems to be the only one he cares about enough to toon some meer emotion. His crying scene is season 3 I think it was 3x19, just destroyed him for me. Hehe. He could never make up his mind, he always defends the person he isn’t dating, and thinks about himself a lot. Thank god he chose peyton, of there would be a hole in my tv door now.
6. Which character do u identify the most with and how?
7. Which is your favoriete Season and why?
Ughhh it’s been changing recently. SO right now my favourite is season 1! I just loved it, it introduced the toon and the characters, but there was still drama and love to keep everyone hooked. Nearing the end it got annoying with nikki and brooke storylines, but apart from that it was good!
8. What is your favoriete storyline for the main 5 characters?
Nathan: Season 3, letting haley back in, I know that must have been tough but I’m glad he did it.
Haley: as above, once she got over herself from season two and realised Nathan’s world didn’t revolve around only her, and that she had been a cow.
Lucas: meh… not much. LOL I did like season 4, his realisation that he loved peyton.
Peyton: This one is hard cause I do feel that she gets a lot of storylines. Aside form the obvious, lucas storyline, I loved her muziek label story. Cause she worked hard and got what she wanted, that was awesome.
Brooke: I loved her season 4 storyline. She realised she could cope without lucas, she achieved her fashion dreams, made new friends, and got chase! :)
Why did I think I would get away without this question?
Season 1: Naley First kiss. SO sweet, loved the music. It was perfect.
Season 2: Gads I hated season two… When haley came back. Cause it was the last episode of that horrible season and there was finally hope for Naley.
Season 3: Naley rain scene. ‘I was hurt Haley, but I was still proud of you, everyday’ *Dies* I love Nathan!
Season 4: ‘IT’S u PEYTON!’ Duh, took his time didn’t he?
Season 5: either Naley reunion 5x13, of ‘Do u wanna get married tonight’ end. OMG WHO DID HE CALL?
Season 6: Do I do this? So far…I don’t know so I’ll cheat and not answer.
10. What do u think is the funniest moment from each Season?
Season 1: Episode 6. I thought it was just really fun because it was one of the first times when all of the main five were together. I really loved brooke being crazy, that was really funny. and luke and nate working together was fun. :)
Season 2: Dare night, not much to say about it but yeah it was a good idea and everyone seemed to have fun. The funniest bit was mouth singing. :)
Season 3: The cabine trip. There were a lot of funny bits. Like haley loosing her ring and then playing I never.
Season 4: Just Skills. I found him hilarious in season 4! He is awesome!
Season 5: When Chase turned up with Owen in 5x11, it was really funny with Owen connecting the dots.
Season 6: When Quentin was teaching Jamie to dance in 6x01. SO CUTE!
11. What do u think is the most heartbreaking moment from each Season?
Season 1:1x15, when lucas and peyton ‘break up’ on his step, and she walks away crying. SHE LOVED HIM!
Season 2: Do u even have to ask? 2x13, Haley leaves, stupid bitch.
Season 3: The finale, Nathan stuck underwater. I fully didn’t know if he was alive.
Season 4: 4x09, Nathan crying after he got to the hospital. Come on, imagine if u were in his position, u don’t know if your wife, child, of brother will be alive and it’s your fault. Gads.
Season 5: 5x08, peyton sacrifices her love for lucas to be happy! *tears*
Season 6: THE WHOLE OF 6X03, I don’t think ive ever cried so much at a tv show. I cried for the whole thing.
12. Do u like he muziek featured on the show?
Oh my god I LIVE off the muziek featured on the show. :) Switchfoot’s ‘Dare u to Move’ In 1x08 got me started. And I went onto oth-music.com to get a few meer songs from episodes that I’d noticed and liked. I loved all the muziek so I kept downloading it. Once I’d heard a song door a band of artist then I would download different songs. I love muziek that is really easy to listen to, like james Morrison.
13. Did u like when the toon skipped 4 years?
I was a bit weirded out about it at first. I mean teen dramas are all supposed to be set in high school. I’m glad one boom heuvel skipped though. I wanted meer seasons but I didn’t think they would be able to keep ratings up if they just went through college years and had the same old dramas. Making the characters adults shows what they had to go through and gives the toon a different perspective etc etc. :)
14. What is your least favoriete thing from the show?
Em this is a hard one…. WAIT no it isn’t. I HATE BRATHAN! God that ship just pisses me the hell off. I don’t understand how people can see a connection there. Sure, they may look good together. But that’s about it! Never has there been any deep, meaningful moments between them that could hint at anything meer than a friendship. And they aren’t even that good friends. Nathan didn’t even know Brooke was peyton’s best friend when he slept with her. And they both admitted that it meant nothing. And then with then 2x20 alternate universe episode when brathan has those scenes together. They represented brooke and lucas and look how well that turned out? I just don’t get it.
I suppose it added ‘spice’ but I hated the season two love triangles. Like with chris and taylor with Naley. And felix and brooke and anna and lucas and stuff it was just all too weird. But I don’t mind the season 1 and 3 triangles. They had to be there cause it was high school. But season 5, I suppose it was slightly necessary, but I got annoyed, ESPECIALLY when Lindsey came back after running out on the wedding. Although I’m glad she didn’t try to get back with lucas when she did. :)
16. Do u think the toon is realistic?
Yes and no. I think the married in high school was a bit drastic, and the intensity of all of the car crashes and accidents that happen to the main five. The only bad thing that has happened to like five of my vrienden in the last jaar was a mild car crash and the death of a friend. On one boom heuvel there is always drama, it’s not impossible for that to happen but I think the toon has to be unrealistic to provide the right amount of drama.
17. If u could play any character, who would u be?
HALEY! Cause I relate to her she would be the easiest to play, and I’d get to kiss james. :)
18. In your opinion, which character doesn`t get enough screen time?
19. Which character would u bring back on the show?
I would bring back Rachel of chase. I liked the part they had in brooke’s life. But then that would give brooke even meer screen time. So I’m not really too bothered.
20. If u could write an episode what would it be about and what would u call it?
WOW this would be crazy. I’m not much of a writer so I don’t know whether I would follow the storylines of do like a one shot AU eppy like chad. There would be Naley and Leyton sex, not all together though. I’d throw a rain scene, the braclet and ‘don’t say I never gave u anything’ in for Naley. Give Leyton some fun, like the cookie fight but different, I don’t know what. I’d make sure brooke was happy for a whole episode.
If I were to do an AU it would still revolve around Naley and Leyton. I could do the whole haley with lucas and Nathan with peyton thing, and then make them swap around and have it all dramtic and secretive.
of do like a bet thing were Nathan has to sleep with haley within a certain time and peyton gets involved and tries to stop him then Nathan falls for haley and then she finds out about the bet and it’s all drama and then peyton catches luke with brooke and it’s awful! But then it gets better!
I would call it! I dunno. A song name probably. Hehe!
