For brucas?
Well, I definitely believe it was closure for their relationship in high school.
But that doesn't mean it closed all doors for forever... they have matured and aged and I think that they could give it another try if they wanted to.
I doubt it, but it's nice to know that there is still a tiny possobility :)

Ya, I answered the last pick without realizing it was for Brucas fans only. But ya, they had closure.

I felt like it was closure on the fact that they "didn't have a love like the one whitey talked about" but I don't think it made those feelings go away. And I don't think Leyton has a love like that either. I agree with 1treehillfan, it was closure on their HS lovestory. And I think it was good that they had that closure because it has allowed them to have the friendship they do now. They might be just friends, and I believe that as it seems now, but I def think Brooke's been hiding her heart behind this "closure" and I'd like to think/dream that Lucas has as well.

Maybe LP don't have a love like Whitey and Camila, but theier love is real and true love, that's why anything can get between them! It have been 7 years since they fall inlove and those feelings never went away, the love they have grew as the years passed and that's true love!! Brucas love died before the middle of season 4 tha's why they had it closure!

I felt so bad for Brooke because the guy she gave her all too didn,t love her back. He was still and will always be in love with Her bestfriend. that is why for me Brucas is over because they doesn,t have a love so strong that no person can come between it. I love Brucas friendship they remind me of Laley sometimes and I love it. + Lucas could never let Brooke all the way in because Peyton already was in his heart and always will be.

When Lucas first met Peyton it was in 8th grade and he knew that he wanted to be with Peyton and ever since he made prediction of her and him and there FUTUR and when Peyton first lock eyes with him she knew she was in love with him.

I never said Leyton's love wasn't real. And Tvfan...All I said was that it also simply didn't compare to Whitey and Camilla's. Leyton doesn't have that kind of love because it developed over years of marriage, they are no only 22-23. The comparison was a probably 40+ year relationship to two high school relationships. Life got in the way of Leyton, and from the moment they locked eyes in season 1 both Brooke, and Lindsey got in between them. Lucas said "I do" on the alter. I won't discredit Leyton's undeniable connection, but they can yet to prove beyond that. And just because Peyton has gotten between both of Lucas's other loves proves nothing about Leyton. All it means is that she was able to get between him and others. They now do have a chance as season 6 begins to have a love like Whitey and Camilla's but as for what the actual question was asking, as in the closure of 4.09/4.09, none of these characters or couples would have compared, we'll all have to wait until Lucas gives his 500th win speech, because they, nor we, have any idea what lies ahead of them.

For me, 408/9 was highschool closure. but 518/601 was final closure. Lucas made his choice. Mark even talks about it: link

watching 3.22 my heart was really breaking for Brooke. It was very strange, cuz I love Brooke, but I never liked Brucas. And at that moment I knew Brucas was over, but I wasn't happy at all, I was crying over Brookes broken heart.. Strange moment for me :p
But yes, seriously I believe that was closure for the brcas relationship, and the beginning of the beautiful brucas friendship that i love :)
