well I'm a brucas fan and I HATE lucas!!

Yeah I'm primarily Brucas fan and I'm only starting to like Lucas again. I think Leyton fans were pretty pissed off at him when he was treating Peyton like crap last season and even over the summer. But once Lucas picked Peyton it really seemed like most of the Leyton fans (not all) totally loved Lucas again and just forgave and forgot about him being an ass to Peyton.

He is SO growing on me! It's true that we were totally pissed at him when he treated Peyton so badly last season but he came to his senses and he apologised in 5.18 and he's OUR Lucas since 6.01..I think BL fans actually dislike him right now!

i loved him since the beggining!!!i still do:)my Lucas lol..except he got on my nerves when he treated peyton like crap but after he started making up for it i was good and he still does i think so he still is in my heart!!

but the real question is, If Lucas were to realize he really loved Brooke and gone with her, who would love him more then?? (don't hate me leytoners, it's just a hypothetical question)

i'm indifferent to lucas ..... i could take him or leave him and have done both. i think BLers love him more, and he did treat brooke well when they were together ... it's not his fault they weren't happy and didn't work (just my opinion, of course...) because he did put up with a lot (not that she didn't also).
ohhhhhhh i just remembered the cheating ..... well apart from that..! lol

I've always loved luke. but while most leyton fans dumped on luke in s5, I noticed that many brucas fans applauded luke's actions cause they hate leyton/peyton. and after everything luke put brooke through, they still think brucas would make a great couple and many think that luke actually treats her better. but most leyton fans hated luke for s5 and lots said they wanted jeyton afterward. Many leyton fans love luke again, now that s6 is in full spin, but I find that their love for luke is very conditional considering all the s1-5 comments I've read (don't hate me guys, it's just an observation :P - it doesn't take away from the fact that you guys are die hard leyton fans!)...

i love peyton..i like luke <3 i think MOST leyton fans agree.

i love lucas...even through all the crap he pulled on peyton (which made me dislike him for a second but i cant ever truly hate him) i still love him. i think its the same for a bunch of other leyton fans too.

i think definitely leyton fans. im a brucas fan and often can't stand lucas anymore. he used to be so cute and sweet and now he's so annoying.
i love brucas seasons 2 and 3....and i probably will always wish for a brucas reunion (no matter how unlikely it may be) but i do this not because lucas is in any way deserving of brooke- but simply because they are passionate on screen together and have such great on screen chemistry that i think it's ashame for it not to be put to good use.
but i find that many leyton fans consider peyton and lucas to be their favorite characters...
while most brucas fans mostly just like brooke.

Because I think a lot (if not all) of Brucas fans are on Team Brooke, not Team Lucas.

well lucas is my favorite character. but it isn't because of leyton...i loved lucas first and because peyton so much better for him than brooke i love leyton...but he's not my favorite character because of leyton

it seems to that unlike other character lucas is easily loved and hated from episode to episode. i guess this might be because very few people have lucas as a favorite character. but from what i've read on this site and others it just seems like people both brucas and leyton fans love luke one episode and hate him the next...it doesn't happen to other characters...but lucas has been my favorite character since the pilot episode, even though he was a jackass through most of season 5 he was always my favorite character, there was never a moment i hated him...and there is no way i'd want jeyton back over leyton...hell i don't even wanna see jake. lol

leyton4ever- that is so true that episode to episode people's opinions change about lucas much more than any other character. maybe there is good reason for that....and maybe there isn't. but i do agree that whether someone is a leyton fan or a brucas fan...leyton fans seem to almost always defend peyton, and brucas fans seem to almost always defend brooke....it's not very often that a leyton or brucas fan will side with lucas over the girls they like.
and thinking about it....i feel like that's the case with the other characters too. i mean nathan has messed up a lot of times- yet nathan fans seem to always defend him and believe in him. i feel like people's opinions on lucas are much more flakey (i know mine are!)

hehe thanks. I have on several occassions taken lucas' side over both peyton and brooke. Personally I don't like brooke so thats easier. I love peyton but there have been many occassions where i've taken luke's side, actually i take his side more often than the girls. I think people usually take either peyton or brooke's side because it seems like people's favorite character is either peyton or brooke.

Nathan doesn't get the same flakiness as Lucas is definately true. But that's I guess because people overall like nathan more than lucas.

I don't know I guess the reaction is because lucas just really isn't a favorite among most fans and it's easy to change your mind about a character you don't really like i suppose.

Brucas fans love Lucas. They think he's some kind of angel, ambushed by Peyton into mistake. They talk about how well Lucas treated her & they would be still together if it wasn't for Peyton. I know! The delusional of some people is incredibile!

I'm an LP fan and I never hated Lucas, not even in S2, S3 or S5. I can understand he was hurting and made mistakes but he managed to find the right path in the end :)
