Although the other one is a stronger statement for many people...i prefer this one coz it helped Lucas to found himself and start writing again...so the quote means A LOT to Luke and especially since it comes from Peyton!

Because this is what Lucas told Peyton in season 1 and it meant so much to her. Her saying it back to Lucas was just beautiful. Peyton inspired him once again <3

No contest! The music, the signature LP flashbacks, how Peyton talked about Lucas saving her yet again. Not only was this scene just overall stunning, and FLAWLESS... but it was SO meaningful. It was this quote from Peyton that actually inspired Lucas to continue with his passion, and write again. The BL scene was... nice. But nothing really came from it, it didn't amount to anything. LP's scene actually served a real purpose. One of my top 5 LP scenes ever. SO AMAZING <333

just watch lucas during this scene, the way he leans forward in the middle of peyton's speech, like he just can't hold back from saying something. and the look on his face when she's finished... *thud*. its scenes like this that make LP so damn special

This one was way more sentimental and had way more meaning to it and actually got Lucas to write again.

This was a toughy for me. "Your art matters" is actually my favorite LP quote. I think it's inspiring and means a lot to both of them but I chose the BL one because I think Lucas was mentally in a worse state of mind in 5x05. He was lost and alone and instead of "making a huge mistake" (I don't see the problem =D) Brooke told him the exact same words he once told her to make her see she was ready to face the post-high school world. I think this helped Lucas move past Peyton's "rejection" and focus more on his career and I guess Lindsey. "Lucas Scott is going to change the world someday and he doesn't even know it yet"♥

Couldn't have said it better myself.

BUT I still love the way Brooke said that quote. You can tell that she still had those feelings for him or what's left of it (at that time) & that was her closure.
