What Should I Do?

My mom doesn't like me watching anime. The reason she doesn't like me watching it is because it shows children that violence and sex is okay to do. I tried explaining to her that all anime isn't like that. Also I do buy anime merchandise. On the outside my mom seems okay with it, but on the inside I know she doesn't approve. I started watching anime when she isn't home pagina and late at night when she is sleeping. Is there a way I can make her approve me watching it of should I just continue with what I am doing?
