Owl City is an American synthpop musical project. It consists of Adam Young. Young started out making muziek in his parents' basement in Owatonna, Minnesota,[3] which he claims is a result of his insomnia.
Young's influences are disco and European electronic music.[4] While his song structures resemble '80s synthpop groups like New Order and The Human League, his synths borrow meer from '90s rave music.
