Ch.4
I silently slapped myself against the shadow of the brick uithangbord as Kowalski and Blowhole passed. I knew Kowalski had been forced to kom bij Blowhole, no matter what he said. It wouldn’t make sense for Kowalski to kom bij forces with the evil dolfijn for no reason.
Before anyone could notice me, I slid on my belly toward the HQ. The sounds of Skipper, Private, and Rico fighting the lobsters started to fade as I made it into the pinguïn habitat and flew through the opening under the vis bowl. I knew the other three could hold off the lobsters alone. With my inexperience with fighting I would be better off searching Kowalski’s lab for some weapon before he arrived.
I shut the door to the lab behind me in case if any unwanted visitors showed up, and began digging through the technology. I shine in the back caught my eye. There was a bit of metal sticking out from under a large cloth. I pulled off the sheet to reveal a huge machine. Near one of my flippers was a switch with pictures of different animals. It was set on penguin.
“This must be the device they used to turn me into a penguin!” I exclaimed before suddenly realizing I should keep my mouth shut. I looked closer at the pictures to see one of a large spotted cat. I grinned as I turned it to that setting and stood in front of the straal, ray before pressing the power button.
The tip of the straal, ray started to glow a brilliant purple, which emanated at me after a few moments and knocked me to that ground. As I stood up I could feel that I was much taller and longer. I flicked the power button off with my white tail tip and took a look at my golden pelt- which was now covered in black, hallow spots. Now I could fight with a chance of winning!
As I ran to get back to the surface I glanced at the mirror to see my eyes still the same bright green that they have always been. I smiled as I pounced into the sunlight. There was no way I would let Blowhole win!
