The volgende morning, they woke up realizing that Eve had turned on her other side. She was resting her head in his chest, and Skipper had a firm hold around her. They got to their feet and pressed on. They walked close to each other since the temperature was now -27⁰F. They tried to keep warm.
About three hours later, they came to the coast. “How are we going to get across the ocean Skipper? We can’t swim in this water.” Eve pointed out. Skipper spotted a boot far off to their right. “This way. We’re gonna commandeer that boat.” They sprinted in that direction, and while no one was around, the climbed aboard. It was a speedboat, ideal for getting to Block Island fast and easy. Skipper pulled started it up and they were off.
It took a little over half an uur to make it to Block Island. They docked the boot and Eve led the way. The lair was at the hart-, hart of the island; and it didn’t take long to get there. They crept through the outlying bushes, Eve leading the way. They snuck in through the back entrance, avoiding the guards. Eve leaned in close to Skipper. “Follow me. I know where they’ll be holding your team.” She whispered. After sneaking through a couple of long hallways, the came upon the mainroom; a large room with high ceilings. Skipper could see his team tied up in the middle of the room. Guards were crawling all over the place. Eve took notice of Heather sweeping the stairs. She pointed her out to Skipper, who nodded. They needed a distraction.
Skipper saw a kar, winkelwagen down the hall. He approached it and pushed it with all of his strength down the hall. He and Eve quickly hid in the shadows as the kar, winkelwagen crashed into the uithangbord with a loud crash, followed door the guards racing into the hallway, confused with what happened. Skipper and Eve snuck into the mainroom; they almost got to his team when a voice stopped them. “Stop right there.”
They stopped and turned. “Well done Eve. I’ve been waiting for ages for u to toon up. And I see you’ve brought what we wanted.”
A fat pinguïn stepped out of the shadows; Hans was volgende to him. They both were grinning evilly. The guards came marching back into the mainroom and tied Skipper up. “I can’t believe u were so stupid Skipper! Did u really believe u were going to save your team all door yourself!?” Hans exclaimed. He turned back to the boss. “So, I held up on my end of the deal. I guess we’ll be going our separate ways.”
“Actually Hans…not exactly.”
“What?” He barely got the word out when the guards tied him up too. “What are u doing?! We had a deal!”
“True. But I did a little research. You’re wanted in Denmark as well Hans. The meer money I get out of this the better.”
Eve chimed in. “Whoa wait…That’s the reason u two are enemies? You’re wanted in Denmark?”
Skipper looked at her, and nodded sadly. “You can’t do this Alastair!” Hans shouted.
“Watch me.” ‘Alastair’ zei evilly. The guards knocked them both over the heads with their rifles as hard as they could. The last thing Skipper heard was Eve shouting his name before he blacked out.

Skipper slowly opened his eyes. When his vision focused, he saw a bunch of bright lights flashing. His flippers were bound behind his back, and Hans was volgende to him. “Morning sleeping idiot.” He muttered. Morning? He’d sure been out for a long time. “Where are we?” Skipper asked. Hans looked at him through squinted eyes. “Where do u think?”
Skipper looked around. The smell of meat and vis filled his nose. He took notice of the military operatives walking around the busje, van they were in. He’d recognize those uniforms anywhere. “Denmark.” Skipper said. “Ding! Ding! And we have a winner.” Hans zei sarcastically.
He looked at Alastair; it seemed he was being harassed door the press. He looked pretty smug of himself. Feel pretty high and mighty of yourself don’t ya? Skipper thought. He knew they had to get out of this. Suddenly one of the press took notice that we were awake and all of the penguins crowded the busje, van as military personnel forced us out. He could hear one of the news reporters, she was saying in Danish: “Two wanted criminals were finally captured after nineteen years door multi-millionaire Alastair Grunay. The criminals are now going in to an immediate trial and Mr. Grunay is receiving a 78143 Euros reward for turning in Skipper and Hans the wanted criminals.”
€78143. of $100000 US dollars. The reward money doubled since he was first wanted. They were taken into a large courtroom where cameras flashed away as they took their places in front of the judge. “I. Blame. You.” Skipper muttered to Hans. Hans just rolled his eyes. The judge hit his mallet twice, calling the court to come to order.
“Nineteen years geleden this crime took place. The verdict then was death. However, since we cannot reinvestigate the circumstances to retrial, I am going to change the verdict to 30 years to life in prison. This court is adjourned.”
The court went crazy. Cameras flashed like wildfire, blinding Hans and Skipper. They were led outside, and just before being put in the back of a large truck, they took notice of Alastair grinning at them. But that’s not the only thing Skipper noticed. Eve was volgende to him, a look of worry and panic in her eyes. Skipper tried to call out to her, but was drowned out over the hustle and bustle of the Danes in his way. They were forced into the truck, and to prison they went.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Once they arrived at the prison, Skipper and Hans were pushed into a single cell. “No! Wait! u can’t room me with him!” Hans protested. The guard just scoffed and locked the cell, leaving them. “What’s the matter Hans? Afraid I’ll kill u in your sleep?” Skipper taunted. “Shut up Skipper. It’s your fault we’re wanted in Denmark anyway.”
“My fault?! It was u who committed the crime! I was trying to clean up your mess!”
“Whatever. Now how are we going to get out of this?”
“I don’t know Hans. But if I’m not out of here in a week, you’d better start sleeping with one eye open.”
