I agree on it a bit cause, as you said, it would be quite interesting for Skipper to have a D.I.D.(Damsel in Distress) for a change, apart from Lola who is an inanimate object. She might also become a good love interest for Skipper (I said MIGHT, okay?!)

But it also has a down side. If Marlene was there, the movie would be focusing more on her role since she is a new character to the movie. We can say that she might be getting more attention compared to the lemurs.

She won't go with the movie much. She has NO idea of any of the previous adventures, characters....nothing. I think she's best only in the show. Sorry.

Maybe I'm just imagining this, but I could have sworn that about a year ago when I was still new here someone had announced here that Marlene is officially going to be in Madagascar 3. I thought she was supposed to be a part of the traveling circus.

Well, I sure hope she's in Madagascar 3. That's the one place that I really do wanna see Skilene happen still. Plus, that would explain why Lola isn't in PoM, if Skipper dumped her for Marlene or something, and then maybe Lola doesn't wanna take Skipper back when he inevitably breaks up with Marlene at the end. XD
