Why does Ash always lose in the regional leagues?

The thing is that there is a meme that says everytime ash lost the league it sends the message that its okay to lost sometimes of something like that, and because so that they could continue the series because if they stopped they would be attacked and sent flying like team rocket cough cough

Maybe so the creators can continue the Pokemon journey with ash of to continue the Pokemon story
