I kind of like the first ones

I love the new ones.

The new ones are only in cn.
The old ones were everywhere!

Both were good.

I'm surprised about the overwhelming margin.

The Newer ones sucks. ANd I mean Sucks! Atleast in the old ones, Ash had some character. Plus, Ash, Misty and Brock are the Best Team. But I can admit that the Sinnoh Pokemon are better. But depending on the episodes Dawn is sooo lame. May, Max, Ash and Brock are also a good team. But Misty is Ash's first Best Friend (Well.... Second, if you count Pikachu). Plus they have been together for Like: Indigo League, Orange Islands, Johto Journeys, Master Quest an 2 episodes in Hoenn. Brock has been with ASH everywhere (well.... almost everywhere except the orange islands).
Misty is cooler because she has super strong pokemon except Psyduck. She had like a Super Strong Gyarados in Hoenn who knows Flame Thrower, She had Togetic, She had Staryu and Starmie too. They are soo cool. And she is a gym leader. Brock tooo. Sinnoh sucks becuz of Dawn. And Gary is way way cooler than Paul. Too bad he became a Researcher. I quite liked battling with him in Fire Red, leaf Green, Naranja, Darkcry, Red, Blue and Yellow.

Okay, I don't know about "horrible," at least not all of them, but yeah...given the choice...the old ones are MUUUCH better.

I like the newer ones more but the old ones were good but I miss Misty firing up at Ash and Brock getting pulled by the ear
but I like Dawn and May and the other villians(espicially Team Galactic)and the new legendaries and besides my favorite pokemon are from the third and fourth generations anyway and the Mystery Dungeon Specials are brilliant at the third and fourth generations are aired here every week (Battle Frontier and Battle Dimension)and this morning they aired Diamond and Pearl and the're would possibly be none contests and no Drew or Paul(which I really like both of them)if they just stayed in Kanto and Johto and Gary still appears in the latest series so we still get to see Ash's main rival and Professor Oak is still in it but I think all the episodes link up as well and I have some more reasons as well

Back when it wasnt all about the gym battles and there were no contests. WHAAAAAAAH. i want my childhood back (ok im 13 but still) i want brock and ash to get hurt from some one other than their pokemon. *sighs* i think i need to watch some old vcr tapes of the old days

I love BOTH the old and new. I don't know why people hate the newer so much. It's just as good as the old ones.

Equal, but the spelling of HORRIBLE was spelled HORRABLE and that was horrible.....Also I like all after Ruby and Sapphire...From DP to Journeys
