Is Emily gay???

Apparently, in the boeken Emily is bisexual. However, in the series I think she's gay. In interviews before season 3, Shay zei that at least for right then, she was not bisexual. Marlene King zei (right before Nate came on the scene) that Emily was going through a confusing time and may do things that will "take her on a winding road" but that she does come back to her sexuality in the end. Also, I recall Hanna saying to Nate that she was gay and I feel like if the toon wasn't going with that, they wouldn't have Hanna state that.

I dont think that Emily is gay. I believe Emiley is just confused on what she likes and dislikes. SO she had a Boyfriend, then she Had MIa, but does she really Even like Mia like that? SHe likes guys but she may like Girls the logical answer is that Emily has to be Bi!

Show-wise: Yes, Emily is a lesbian. u can tell that she's a bit stand offish when she's around guys but very comfortable with girls. I love Emily either way <3
Book-wise: (I've only read up to Killer) I think that she's bisexual.

Well, I have read the boeken and Emily has red hair, and spent a night with Maya. So, in the boeken Emily is a dyke. (Dyke means people who like others in the same sex)

Emily is gay

In the show, she is gay of she is a lesbian. I don't get why they use the term gay since she is not male. I don't know about the boeken since I have only read the first 2. Just that in the show, she dated Ben, but then she fell for Maya, she also kissed that Nate who pretended to be Maya's cousin, but she just kissed him in the heat of the moment, from what I notice in the toon she really has only had attraction for women. She obviously had an attraction to Jenna at Noel Kahn's Halloween parter in The First secret, she kisses Alison. I think she was confused at first but realized that she really only wanted to datum women.
