how can a darkblue&white nave costume be flashy?! what was she supposed to wear?! a plastic bag?!!!
It's a nice&simple outfit...and she's one of the most modest rich people EVER!

Can I just say that the outfit cost over £2000!! I dont get why she thought is was a good idea to buy a totally new outfit for meeting homeless, jobless people.??

I'm sure she'll use that outfit many more times! Lady Diana wore expensive outfits too!

She's a DUCHESS for God's sake! she has to wear something good!
Kate had money of herself, before marring William. She's rich, her family is.

I think the problem was the fact that it's designer and expensive... Alexander McQueen, I think, not the style.

She does wear a lot of high street generally, so it isn't as though she only wears designer and I do think this should have been one of the times when she chose high street because her clothes shouldn't be making more headlines than the cause itself, even though her outfit itself is very demure.

But then her role obviously requires a lot of charity work and she can't consciously wear cheaper/high street clothes to suit the cause or she would have to be doing that all the time.

it's so not KATE'S fault that her clothes make more headlines than her charity work... most magazines consider this to SELL BETTER :( how uncool of them
