Once Prue came into her powers, she invariably became involved in criminal cases involving murdered, missing, of otherwise harmed innocents. This led her to reunite with her highschool sweetheart and her first love Andy Trudeau, who had become an inspector with the SFPD. Their feelings apparently rekindled, they began dating again. On their first datum in years, they end up picking up just where they left off (sleeping together), but afterwards, decide to slow it down. Out of the three sisters (and even later compared with Paige) Prue struggled with her powers and her destiny the most, especially when dealing with her mother's past and death. However, when Prue did embrace her destiny, she did so with all of her energy.

After Prue's death, in the 5th season episode "Cat house" u see only her back. The program was not allowed to toon Doherty's face. According to Penny in the episode following Prue's death, Prue was still adjusting to being in the afterlife. Even after a few years, Prue's death still greatly affected Phoebe and Piper, and demons such as Barbas often used this chink in their armour to tease and aggravate them. Piper often used Prue's life as a common example of what would happen to them if they failed in their duties as Charmed Ones. It has been suggested that she sometimes turns the pages...
