If u can't drink and drive, why do u need a driver's license to buy liquor, and why do bars have parking lots?

Well u wouldn't walk around with a passport would u of a birth cetificate?
I think it's to prove your age, it may be harder to forge driving licenses of something like that and bars have parking lots for the staff and also some people don't drink, they're the rid for that night (only some)
