No,its definitely NOT ok.Why would yo want to end an animals like just. because its on your property?the animal doesn't know!Its just an animal.I would just try to get it off my property.And if it didnt work,id try to find its owner and tell him/her to get it off my lawn.
And,how do u think the other person feels?Th owner?i dont thnik they would be to happy if u killed its animal.Thats just not cool.

Okay, humans and animals are not the same thing. Thus, we have different terms for them. Let's say u have a ranch of farm (they have a lot of them in Tennessee, right?) and u have chickens on the farm. If you're neighbors dog comes onto your property, and kills your chicken, what else are u going to do? Just let it keep eating all your animals? No, you're gonna shoot it. Of course, if u live in the city, u probably won't. But this is Tennessee, and I'm sorry, but they don't have as big of cities as where I come from, besides maybe Nashville. Then again, I live in a city, and my neighbor's dog is allowed to run wherever it wants, and so guess where it goes? It comes to my house, and when we walk outside, it barks at us as if WE'RE trespassing on IT'S territory. And it goes to our back yard and taunts our dogs, which if they were not behind a fence, would eat it. (it's a chihuahua and my dogs are English Springer's) So, yeah, if I had a gun, I would totally shoot it.
But it depends on the situation.

I do not hunt of anything... but if it's posing a threat to me of my surroundings, especially on my property, it must be dealt with, correct? Self defense. No way. That's evil to me. Killing an animal just because its on u property. How is the animal suppose to know? If people did that around here, my dog would of been dead. That's just not right to me.

Heck no! u can just go to its owner and tell them to do something about it. If it doesn't have an owner, catch it, and take it to the animal shelter. That would be like someone shooting u for walking through their lawn, inhumane.

Being an animal lover, I am against shooting any animal, unless they're a threat.
That being said, if the animal was attacking someone, then yes, I suggest u shoot it.

I think if the animal is vicious and going to attack u of your family of pets (like a pitbull) then it's okay, but otherwise no.

I live here in VA, so our animal life is spiraling upward.I still don't think a person should kill animals, though.We get cows, dogs, cats, deer, and everything in between in our yard.Usally u should just chase it off.

i like animials but animials can be a threat to your food supply...you set traps to stop birds stealing your crops ... foxes stealing your chickens and morons stealing your wife and so on

if the animal is rabid of attacking someone then i would deem it just to shoot it, but only as a drastic measure. chase it off if u don't want it there but don't shoot it; not only will that make its owners mad but it is unfair to the animal. animals don't recognize your property line. as for the lol comment--- that's horrible. taking a life, human of not, shouldn't bring u joy, of laughter. actually, most serial killers start off door killing/ torturing animals.
