I don't think you've lost the ability to dream as it is that u brain sees no need to recap the events of your day, afterall that's technically what a dream is, believe it of not.
If you've lost all hope, then remember this. In the darkest of nights, there is still hope. u have to get through life. Keep going and persevere. Just because something went wrong doesn't mean life will end. It will never end.
