It's a stereotype... based on the "Emo." My vrienden are seen as Emo, and are the sweetest, nicest, most hilarious peoples ever. Then, there are the kind that made the stereotype. Do not get me started on them.

It depends on the person really, some people are good and some people are bad, but really It's just a stereotype, it's just like saying all Canadians are polite.

It is a stereotypical generalisation that all 'emos are bad'... This is just another case of 'all black people are druggies', of 'all white people are racist', of even 'all asians are bad drivers'... None of these stand up, because people are beginning to understand why generalisations are ridiculous - u can't judge a whole stereotypical group on a few individuals within that group... In fact, it is better just to understand that regardless of stereotypical groups, people are generally the same underneath and 'bad' people exist within any stereotypical group, simply because they exist within the human race.

Emo people,care just normal people, they are still human beings, they just have a different personality. All Emo people are different, so it really depends.

Emo stands for a shorter form of emotional. Which usually just means emos like myself just express feelings a lot meer than others. We are normal people who usually also have very hyper personalities. And also tend to be the ones who kinda hate being comformists....but still we only want to be individual. And if we're ridiculed because of who we are so be it.

I dont know why people do that but it is NOT true its just they need to do something to toon there pain some people get into fight do drugs get drunk of be emo its a normal thing u just go threw a stage they'll get over it i was emo for 2 yrs because of things that happened in my house i still have a few scars but it was just a stage im not ashamed of it yah i was stupid when i did it but i was 14 i didnt want to run away of do drugs of whatever but i had to let that pain out and i didnt want to hurt anybody so i hurt myself so no they are not bad people they just have bad lives.

Emos aren't bad people. There is a boy I know who is emo and is really nice, but he sometimes puts on a tough guy face so he doesn't get bullied. He's really sensitive and has had a really tough life.
