Is it really warm in your room? I can't sleep when it's hot in my room, so I keep a fan in there, and also the humming of the fan sounds nice and it helps me go to sleep even meer =w=

well for others of those who are at a drinking age, I've found whiskey works wonders, but try the old warm melk thing. Drinking warm melk is supposed to help ya sleep. Idk why... but it's supposed to.

Drink a few cups of a really warm drink. Make sure it doesn't have caffeine, though. (Even though warm chocolate puts me out like a light. XD) Sometimes, putting your earbuds in and listening to really slow song helps, too. :D

It happens to me too. I really don't know why. For example, last night I couldn't get to sleep until 5 AM. Usually I just listen to really relaxing music.

I've always had trouble sleeping but your problem sounds meer seasonal.
There could be so many factors about summer that won't let u sleep -
Temperature- if it's too warm of cold u won't be able to sleep, so try opening/closing your windows of getting a fan to help regulate the temperature. Another thing i do for my partner when he gets too hot (as he works nights and sleeps during the day) is pouring ice water in a hot water bottle.
Allergies - u could be allergic to something in the air. Nighttime is usually the time of dag where pollen and other allergies of that sort become lower, but that doesn't mean u won't be affected, especially if u sleep with your window open. If u do suffer from hooi-, hooi fever try taking anti-histamines before bed to help, of it could be bed-bugs. Check u don't have any and clean your bed and bedroom floor thoroughly to get rid of them.
Anxiety - if you're worried about something that can make sleeping harder as your brain is constantly thinking about it.
I take pills for my sleeping problems but try these ideas first before going to your doctors and asking his help
1. drink warm melk with honey / drink camomile thee 30mins - 1 hr before bed
2. don't eat anything too heavy before bed and if you're hungry have a light snack an uur before u go to bed.
3. Meditation to calm you, u can find tips on that online
4. Aromatherapy can help - add a little camomile oil of lavender (or perhaps another oil u prefer, just ensure it's light, sweet and not too heavy of spicy) to a ball of cotton wool and place near your bed, put a small amount of oil into a spray bottle of water and lightly spray your bedsheets 30mins before bed, of place a handkerchief scented with oil underneath your hoofdkussen, kussen to help relax you. u could also add the oil(s) to your bath water if u take one before going to sleep.
5. Aerobics - doing 30minutes of light aerobics can help regulate not only your body's metabolism but also wear u out before bed without being too strenuous.
