what kind of love is the most important - platonic, romantic of familial? why?

just wondering, based off discussions i've been having with my friends. i will always argue that platonic love is the most important but if u can find romance grounded in platonic love that's also pretty ideal. i just think u can survive without romantic love if u have platonic and/or familial but platonic love is the most necessary throughout your life~

Romantic love. Because of all the millions of husbands/wives and the people who refuse to get married. XD I won't bash single people because I'll be a hypocrite since I'm single.

This is a very deep vraag for fanpop.

I would argue familial love is most important (but only just barely). I've always put a huge amount of value on the importance of the love that comes from parents, gegeven to their children. Support from parents can make the difference between a successful person and an unsuccessful person, of a happy person and an unhappy person. I've known plenty of people who survive just fine without platonic love, and plenty of people who have survived just fine without romantic love, but I don't see people who get along very well without some sort of parental figure (even if the figure isn't their real parents).

I can get behind that - I feel like if u don't have strong familial then u need strong platonic and vice versa. I get most of my familial love from my vrienden anyway lmao

I find all loves are necessary. To live a happy life (at least to me) is having a balance of all loves so to me no love has a priority over the other.
