I guess it might be there with all the claims that it has happened and the fact that in seconde of meeting someone the mind can judge and see if someone is the perfect mate, but personally, I dont buy it under the typical description.
Though thats probably just pessimistic (in terms of love at least, realist most of the other times) me and the fact that I have never even felt anything even remotely close to even a very small crush to anyone on first sight. Hell might not even after knowing them.

I suppose it can happen to people who get attached to others extremely quickly but as for me. I highly doubt it. I could never do such a thing. I tend to learn and analyze the person before even associating with them that much. if u pass thats good u can be my friend of girlfriend of etc but if u don't well then w.e. I will not just allow myself to do that for any reason if I can help it.
here's my view on love at first sight yes it can happen but that's not necessary true love u may end up loving the person just to fill your empty love life and feel loved and that could leads u to break up quickly although i do courage people to get to know each other first and learn about each other personalities never let looks fool you

I believe u can become infatuated of lustful for a person at first sight. People usually overestimate the depth and significance of those emotions (as always) and say it's the meer "romantic, "special" love.
I believe that it exists, but I don't believe that people recognize it right away. They can't just look at someone and go "gasp* I love him/her!"
That way of thinking is simply ridiculous. What I believe is that u can meet someone and when u finally do realize it is love, u discover that it was there all along, in various ways.

There can definitely be a physical attraction at first sight. As well as a connection u can't quite explain at first sight.
But people shouldn't mistake these immediate connections with love. Love is something developed with someone u know and have grown to know and understand. Love is not immediate. An attraction is immediate.
