Well, VERY SMALL PARTS of the anime fandom honestly. Most fans are normal, like myself, but some are insane about it...IM LOOKING AT u GUY WHOS AT THE MIKU HATSUNE CONCERT.

I think all fandoms can carry a certain miasma to them, though some meer than others. I generally prefer to stay out of them. The Sherlock fandom annoyed me despite being a big fan of the show. But this is meer of a personal thing.
I'm also not too fond of the Steven Universe fandom. I've watched the toon and I like it, but I've personally seen some things on tumblr like saying who can and can't like the toon that makes me really, really dislike the fandom. I heard from a friend, who also loves the show, that the creator had to call them out on it.
Okay I really really love steven universe and most of the fanbase but I gotta say the Steven Universe fandom. They're probably the worse..... I have seen so many fan speed painting on youtube and every time i scroll down to the commentaren they keep saying stuff like "Wow u drew her too this" of "their weight is a bit off" blah blah blah its really sad too... after the incident with zamii I don't know anymore

It makes me really sad, too. I mean, a lot of the commentaren go against what the toon emphasises to begin with- acceptance. It makes me really sad to think that such a positive seeming work can be made so negative.
