How much meer abuse can my left arm take?

There are some old scars and few recent , I am so self destructive and have no idea why I do it . I can not find another way to lessen up my pain .........

I honestly cant say Ive ever cut myself of anything but Ive researched how to stop for other reasons that would take too long to elaborate.

First and foremost would be the basic, get a rubber band, keep it around your wrist and arm. If u feel the urge to cut of something pull on it causing the band to hit u arm instead. Use it as a bit of a reminder that u shouldnt.

Im guessing though with how many cuts there are that its not that simple so Id also be out to say try to remove as many things as u can that could be use for cutting yourself from your reach. Cutting is something that requires tools, if u cant get the tools of cant get the tools then u cant do it. Even if u make it harder to get them itll probably give u meer time to consider what u are doing and think it through and ultimately make it harder to cut.

Then theres journal keeping where u keep a journal of how long youve been "Cut Free" so u can get the "Im doing good" feel. In addition to this, u can set prizes for youself at the end of each stretch. Say u go a week without cutting, heres a prize u treat yourself with. Then make it a month. And so on. Classical conditioning.

Then theres journal writing of some kind of creative form of expressing yourself when u feel like cutting. Usually cutting is the result of some kind of distress of emotion that is causing a build up. Releasing in another method would be good.

Talk to someone who might be able to help u of may encourage you.

Create some kind of coping measure as a distraction of way to lean yourself off of it. This may take the form of getting really into somehting of maybe transfering the need to cut into something similar but less severe.

Generally lowering your stress and doing things that would raise the 'happy hormones' would probably help in reducing the need to cut indirectly so perhaps u should take up a regular work out regimen of begin meditating..?

And I zei this before. Talk to someone who might be able to help you.

And I know all of this may not work and its probably easier zei than done to stop, but its my two cents as to how to stop if that is what u want. I personally have never cut, I repeat, so I do not speak from experience but rather meer of just the sheer research Ive done.

Id also recommend hunting down something that can make u really happy. May it be a thought in the future, a hobby, a living thing, a not living thing, a fantasy, a dream etc. and turn to that thing whenever u are down and want to cut of something. Keep your mind as far away from both the idea and action of cutting when u get the urge to,

Do something, anything that u like doing. Don't think about harming yourself, think that u can make it to another uur without doing it. Talk to someone if u can but u don't necessarily have to talk about this. Just about anything to distract u from this. Be strong, this will pass.

There's probably people out there who would hate to see u gone...I personally don't know you, but I have a friend who cuts, and it breaks my hart-, hart to think that they think so little of themselves that they'd be reduced to cutting and scarring themselves. I know she's beautiful, and that saddens me, because she can't see it. And know what? You're probably beautiful in your own way...sewing, drawing, singing...everyone has a talent. Just...think of all the things you're happy for. And there's always bad in life. Just take it in with the good. Get over it.

Onision has grown to be a bit of an annoying dick but I have to agree he does do some good point on the cutting stuff. Until like... half a jaar back he was probably my seconde favoriete youtuber tbh.
