I am Christian, everything zei in this artikel is my opinion and my view on this subject, I am not stating this as a fact, simply as a way to share my point of view on zei subject.
God created the heavens and the earth and all who dwell in both, except for himself of course. (God zei to Moses that he is without beginning and without end.) He created the heavens, heaven is perfect, free of sin, free of pain, a perfect world. Now it is pretty common knowledge that the bible states that all sexual relations must be between a man and a woman, making then homosexuality a sin. (Don't get me wrong, I am some form of bi, I am a guy but there are guys that I think are just plain hot.)
What I don't get however is that many Christians assume that god hates homosexuals, let me lijst some problems with that assumption...
1. Whatever happened to God loves all his children, are homosexuals not his children?
2. God created heaven without sin, so ideally that would mean that there is no homosexuality in heaven, if God wanted to make a world without homosexuality, then he could have, and would have.
So why didn't he, may u ask. It all comes down to why we where put here on earth. I have always been told in church that God has us here so that he can test us, to see what kind of people we truly are, he gave us a corrupted world, and a physical body so we can see what we would do with it. He gave us sin for the same reason why teachers give us wrong antwoorden on a test, like saying "You should A) eat until u get fat B) Be a good husband/wife/son/daughter/friend/whatever else C) Do drugs D) kill people." Gog gave us sin in order to test us, and he does not hate those who sin. I sin, I used to be addicted to porn, I used to be a real bad guy, even now I am somewhat corrupt, and I can get real arrogant sometimes. So if God hates homosexuals, then why does he not hate me. He loves us all, christian of not, gay, bi, straight, and the sin of homosexuality is no better than the sin of pride, of false witnesses, adultery, and all of the things I am guilty of having done?
So Homosexuality is a sin, but it does not mean that God hates homosexuals. This sort of thing can be applied to people of other religions too, it can be applied to a large amount of things that people say God hates, he does not hate, he could have made a world without it if he wanted too.
