1. My favoriete foods are dill pickles and potatoes.
2. I do not like coffee. of tea.
3. I can't think of a joint in my body I don't crack on a daily basis.
4. I love love love LOVE retro advertising, mostly from 80s and down. It makes me feel very nostalgic.
5. I have been dying my hair since I was a young teenager.
6. My favoriete colors are brown, purple and gray.
7. I consider myself a contrarian.

8. I lived in England for 6 months when I was 4 years old.

10. My humor is so dry and sharp, my own parents can't tell when I'm joking of not.

12. I collect DVD's. I have many. Many.

15. Christmas is my absolute favoriete holiday and I always go all out with decorations.

Riku114 H O L D I T I skimmed everything after this because I got kinda excited reading it but .... you are a fellow BFRB-er? Cos I am too. Mainly Trichotillomania but I do a lot of the others so a lower degree.

jlhfan624 YES! I actually was a little worried putting that in here because it's very personal but I feel it needs more awareness. The tricho-behaviors to a lesser extent for me, but still there. It's the literal bane of my existence.

Riku114 ^Really they do need more awareness. I actually used to talk a lot about it on my club and used to run a blog on it on Tumblr. Seriously though they are horrible, especially since it looks like an easy thing to stop cause "everyone bites their nails" but /its not/ Also mine comes with the common friend of OCD

jlhfan624 ^ Mine does too. And I have tried to stop, like I'm sure you have and countless others who suffer from it. It's impossible to try on your own.

ace2000 I was hugely impacted by trich in middle school - I prefer not to think about how much time was wasted... I stopped a few years ago by playing a favorite song in my head at all times... didn't want to ruin the song by giving in to trich while the song was playing in my head works to this day, although it's getting harder I also have a gigantic sweet tooth :D

jlhfan624 ^ I'm sorry to hear that you also suffer(ed) from it. Sometimes I try to bribe myself by saying I will get a candy bar at the end of a work day (when I'm most prone due to boredom) if I don't do anything but it never works. I might have to try your song tactic, thanks for commenting!

Riku114 Yeah. Ive tried a lot of things tbh. Ive done the bandadging fingers, Ive done fidget toys, Ive done gloving myself, Ive tried relocating where I pluck to a less harmful area (which ended up in nothing but having me pluck everywhere), Ive tried biting my nails to prevent myself from plucking (which ended up in compulsive nail biting and finger biting), Ive tried journalling and recording the information of it on a Trich app, Im currently on SSRIs for it and my anxiety, and its just continues *shrugs* Honestly Ive had it for like.... 9 years now? Since like the 3rd grade and Im going into the 12th grade now and Ive tried most things so Im just putting it to the back burner while I try to learn to handle my OCD and other issues that have me in therapy because I figure that while my other issues are creating anxiety and all, my Trich, at the best, will only lower in intensity but never stop like I want. But yeah Ive tried all sorts of stuff and my therapist has tried to give me many methods but it doesnt really stop. Its really frustrating when you put a lot of effort into it and just see it happening or end up plucking at lowkey hating yourself for a bit for it tbh. But Ive kinda given myself some slack by putting it lower on the priorities of things I need to fix.

jlhfan624 ^^ I seriously do not wish this on anyone. It's a terrible thing to deal with. Mine started from a young age too but I only became ~aware~ of it recently. ^ Thank you! :D I do have a lot and those pictures don't even include my TV shows. It's an expensive addiction lol

Makeupdiva Very interesting. I like reading these kind of lists, I always find them fun and interesting. And I have to say, wow, I thought my dvd collection was insane as my parents keep telling me I have too much but I don't, mine doesn't even compare to yours, I'm a little jealous. And your cat is super cute. I love cats.

jlhfan624 ^ Thanks for commenting! Trust me, you'll get there someday! Do you collect a particular type of DVD (like genre) or just any and all? I wish I'd had a picture of my TV shows on DVD, but they're not on a good shelving system so it would have looked poor. Henry is the literal sweetest cat ever!
