This Rob Bourdon foto contains trommelaar, drummer, snare drum, snare, side drum, kant drum, tenor drum, tom tom, tenor trommel, and tom-tom. There might also be paukeslager, paukenist, tympanist, bass drum, gran casa, grote trom, and concert.
This artikel is completely based on my personal observation of few drummers, so it is but natural that a lot of u won't agree with me. Never mind.
I have observed a few drummers very minutely and what I felt was that they weren't playing much different from one song to the other, in fact I was able to find some beats common to all their songs. I was able to recognize the trommelaar, drummer to an extent without knowing who was it.
This was all about my observation.
Through, this artikel I'm seeking opinions of those who are really interested in drumming and can toon some light on this topic. Whether it is good of a habit which a trommelaar, drummer must avoid.
