Lazy days of summer had begun, the Burrow was filled with warm sunshine Yet the house had an air of loneliness. The only Weasley child who remained in the Burrow was Ron, unmarried and busy in work.
Molly gazed out of the keuken-, keuken window to see...
She didn't believe her eyes at what she saw, but the sight warmed her hart-, hart immensely. She saw a lanky but strong young ginger man, carrying a now beautiful young lady, whose only flaw was her squirrel's tail type hair. Ron seemed to be laughing with the satisfaction of a seeker who has finally found what he was after, finally having found his golden snitch. Both gazed into the others eyes, Molly suddenly remembered that summer when Arthur had proposed to her and the way he looked intently into her eyes, patiently awaiting her answer which had been a positive one.
Lost in happy memories of her past, she ceased to notice that Ron and Hermione had entered the Burrow and were now standing behind her. She faced them, noticing her son's long arm wrapped around Hermione's shoulders.
"Mum," he zei happily and she noticed the same glint in his eyes, as Arthur had in his, all those years ago.
"Mum," he continued. "Hermione and I are engaged."
Molly felt happy tears form in her eyes and she hugged both of them tightly.
"Mum! Please not now..." protested Ron, but Molly chose to ignore him and turned to Hermione said
"Welcome to the family dear."
