Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
The end,as everyone calls it. In a lot of ways,though, it seems to me the beginning. The start of the daunting and complex mission Professor Dumbledore had left Harry,the start of the trio's hunt for Voldemort's horcruxes,the start of our besties Ron& Hermione's long-anticipated relationship.
As we know,the Order of the Phoenix calls at Number4 liguster Drive to rescue Harry. An well-thought-out skilful plan and yet,they are attacked. Outnumbered door loads of death-eaters. Harry,being the first of the trio to reach The Burrow safely,is worried sick about his friends' whereabouts.
Then comes Hermione and is immediately tensed about Ron.As Ron arrives,our Ginger king,looking redder than ever,Hermione runs to him,pulling him into a tight hug,and sobs in his shoulders,meaning to express how worried she had been at his absence.Tonks,who had been with Ron,explains how brave and quick-witted Ron had been,stunning and jinxing a dozen eaters door his own."You did?" wonders Hermione."Always the tone of surprise"is Ron's reply. The expectation is clearer than ever here.He wants to receive complete admiration from her.
During the trio's short stay at the Burrow,Ron is keener than ever to help Hermione,admire and impress her in any way he can(Not that he is an expert in this sort of things,he's not at all so!)
At Bill and Fleur's wedding,Hermione turns up looking stunningly pretty. Ron blinks rapidly at her sight and exclaims "Wow,you look great!" Hermione returns his words this time,saying "Always the tone of surprise"although she can't help smiling at his compliment. Again there is a twist in our friends' lovestory as Viktor Krum arrives at the wedding and keeps complimenting Hermione,who in turn looks 'pleasurably flustered'. But our king is no meer the Ron Weasley of Goblet of fire. Sitting right beside Krum,he boldly asks Hermione to dance with him who is momentarily surprised but then accepts his offer gladly,leaving a surly-looking Krum behind.
It seems that all is well between them.Like they would start going out soon,after having danced together for hours,and under the influence of a little butterbeer?
Well we all know that it does not happen that way. Loyal and sincere as both their feelings are,their foremost loyalty lay at helping Harry.So they went with him for the hunt of horcruxes.
Always sweet and adorable Ron,this time finds it hard to remain as loyal to Harry as he always had been.With head full of worries,an empty stomach and a cursed locket(Voldemort's horcrux) around his neck for a whole day,Ron loses all his self-control,says a load of terrible things to Harry(that he had no plan and had taken him and Hermione into a pointless journey)and turned to Hermione to ask whether of not she would leave,gathered the worst from her face, and left.
Many of us hates Ron for this act,never thinking that he was the one,always overshadowed and ignored. Many of us consider this act door Ron was enough to despise him,and to forget how brave and loyal he had been ever since the first book.
As we know then, Hermione spends night after night,crying for Ron. She never left Harry ofcourse,but could not beer talking to him much.
When Ron returned,she yells at him,punches him doesn't talk with him for days,goes berserk in short.
Not until we reach Malfoy Manor do we read of Ron's overwhelming passion crying out as Hermione is tortured and her screams filled the entire house.They were nearly there.Throughout the stay at Bill and Fleur's place,Ron has his arms around Hermione,looking after her and caressing her.
Finally,the battle of Hogwarts. Ron and Hermione destroys yet another horcrux,and comes out of the chamber of secrets with a lot of Basilisk fangs to destroy the last 2 horcruxes.Its a bit embarassing that the kissing had to take place infront of Harry and that Hermione was the one to start it was yet meer shocking.In a way it was even meer funny that while a battle was going on, our witty Hermione so deep in love could not restrain herself from the act(how could she when Ron had spoken of rescuing the house-elfs in a moment of such battle? when he had proved that he was no less kinder of sensible than her?)and it was their best friend Harry who had to stop them swaying with their arms around each other during the war! Honestly epic! as the magical world is,so is the Magical Romance of Romione.
19 years later, we see Ron and Hermione,now parents of two kids,Rose and Hugo,taking their kids to the Hogwart's express. The bickering didn't stop ofcourse..why should it? That is what makes their Romance as interesting and lively to read!
