I’m just wondering about it…because i hate the fact that Rory hasn’t told to her mother that she come back to Yale thanks to Jess (o if it happenend it would be off screen ?)..
Moreover, now Jess has become more mature and reliable…so different by the boy Lorelay knew when he was in StarsHollow..
It was a pity that Jess didn’t occasion to redeem himself in the eyes of Lorelay

i think if Rory told her mother that Jess is the reason she went back to yale - lorelai would accept Jess.
even if rory didn't tell lorelai about Jess, & Jess came to see Luke - Lorelai would see Jess has matured.

I think that if Rory told Lorelai that Jess was the one that helped turn her life around that she would accept them. And if Lorelai was able to see the more matured Jess, she would surely accept them!!

Its clear tht they belong together, and Jess really changed so Lorelai shud accept it. Plus she owes him for making Rory see sense season 6.

i think she'd be supportive anyway, cause she'll understand that they actually belong together :)

I think Lorelai liked to make jokes about Jess in the years following their breakup, but if she saw season 6 Jess, I think she'd feel differently. If she knew he was the one who got her back to Yale and that she was the one who inspired him to become a better person, then all would be well.

Jess and Rory belong together.
