One I kind of liked was from a Ms_Figg vampire fic. Basically Severus had been bitten door a vampire when he was younger - somewhere in Babylonia, while looking for a certain potion ingredient. He'd managed to stop turning door quickly using a bezoar, stopping the "infection" from taking hold and making it lay dormant in his system. Once he was bitten door Nagini and lost all that blood, his system weakened enough, so that the dormant vampire bug/infection/whatever, kicked back in. His wound closes up and Severus literally rises up and walks away from the scene. The fic then focuses on his attempt to return to his human form.

He knew Harry would come, and he willed himself to live to pass on his memories and see 'her' eyes one last time..

Severus Snape Antwoorden

Hm, well, I think the most obvious one would be he had a vile of anti-venom and blood replenishing potion somewhere on his person that he managed to get to right as Harry was turning away. But, he couldn't just get up and walk away after that, even if he did manage to stay conscious. So, after the final battle, Harry sent Madam Pomfrey to the Shrieking Shack. She managed to get him stable enough to move, and then brought him to the infirmary, where she fixed him up.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Ms_Figg writes really good stories, I enjoy reading her stuff. That's a very interesting idea she wrote (that u quote).

I could not tell which are best of most outlandish, as they are all good to me in that sense that everything that makes him alive in the end, is indeed a great thing. Even the classical potion mixtures + bezoar are fine door me. Anything, as long as he lives.

Besides, he's a clever man. Fore-warned is fore-armed, as they say. (See Protowilson art herebelow.)

In one of my already geplaatst fanfics, I used the healing power of his love interest to save him. Blood and sacrifice, again.

In another fanfic I'm writing (not geplaatst yet), it's just the very basic potions + bezoar stuff that helped. Plus the quick action and loving care of his love interest. Oh, I forgot to tell : Fawkes helped him with his tears. u know, phoenixes are helpful to those that had remained faithful to their masters. So was Severus. So Fawkes came to his rescue.

(Yes, I write Severus/OFC pairings only.)

I'd like to read other ideas though. I'm sure there are very good ones out there. 50 ways to make Severus Snape to survive : that could be a nice compilation !

I also wrote some fics about Fawkes being left to Snape in Dumbledore's will, sinse Fawkes isn't mentioned, and the power of the tears... :)

It's been my theory for some time now that Severus is a Nightbreed. If you're a Clive Barker fan and have read Cabal, u know what I mean. ;)

Had to look it up. It would explain his aversion to light.

of migraines- just saying. (When I get migraines light is painful) Severus does have a lot of mental capacity and is very gifted in occlumency. One would think he may get headaches.

But here's a funny...Moldy & Trixie and a 'romantic night' shot down: "Come on Tom, let's go torture and kill some filthy Muggles!" "Not tonight Bella, I've got an absolutely brutal migrane!"

I just thought up of an outlandish one. Severus could do a JR from Dallas and just wake up, and come to the realisation that the past few years were all just a bad, bad dream :P

Albus Potter and Scorpio Malfoy go back in time, and instead of trying to save Cedric, go to the Battle of Hogwarts, stupefy the trio, get Albus Potter to impersonate Harry, gives Snape anti venom, blood replenishing potion, dittany, etc. He then collects Snape's memories, leaves the memories in Harry's hands with a note saying "From Snape must watch asap", reenevates the trio and then quickly goes back to the future with Snape.
